Only reason I'm posting here is because I think people are more genuine here than in the support section. Ofc some people will post hilarious stuff like 'Lol pedo' 'imadbro' or 'cheesecake XD' but I'm sure at least someone will be able to produce their honest opinion.

my friend was 18 and dated a 15 year old.

Not really acceptable. But If the girl is mature enough then go for it. Otherwise I'd stay away from it, I'd just wait until she is older atleast 17. Tbh there is no point in being in a relationship when you're that young anyways... You're just gonna meet other people as you age so whats the point in trying to settle down at the age of 17 >_>...
 
At that point the maturity level can be really different though.

On a serious note, I personally wouldn't a 3 year gap at that age is weird.

But erm, it's sort of not right but only at that age. It would be different if she was 18 and he was 21. I'd see that as being perfectly fine to be honest... But it's just the fact that he's almost 18 and she would be 15 :/

Just seems a little wrong. I don't think her parents would be very happy either. 15 is too young. Obviously it depends on the person. But I think the human brain develops and matures an awful lot between the ages of 15 and 18, just sayin'.
 
Youngest I could see a 3 year difference working out would be 16 to 19. 17 to 20 wouldn't be bad either.

Well I'm not gonna be an idiot saying 'my friend was wondering', of course this is about me and a girl who is 2 years and 4 months younger than me. Normally I wouldn't consider it, but she is really mature for her age. (both physical as psychological)

If I would go for it, I would not make it public and ask for her discretion as well. I'd just tell a few people from who I am certain I can trust them.

There would be 4 months during which I'd be 18 and she 15. After that we'd be 16 and 18, which doesn't sound bad to me at all.... I really don't know
