Received a second ban from RWTing on ONLY rs3. This account was maxed and only rwted three times. I believe I sold ~15b off of him. Jagex is on the hunt people watch it.

I bought gold on a level 3 mule, traded it to my main and then sold it from my main. Main account was a 2007 account and this was its only offense. Funny enough the level 3 is still kicking around.

How do they tell the difference between RWT and someone very generous? Like someone could just go "here's 2b for free since I'm nice".

 

@cloudsen Lol back in year 2007 when I started RS.. I got banned a month later for "Rwt"

Sum kid gave me a free 200knfkr full rune then I begged for more. I was lv 50, later went to hill giants and banned the next day.

Hopefully you'll be able to rebuild. It might be a good idea to distribute your wealth across several accounts and to use a VPS (or is it VPN? @Xier0 ) when you rwt.

 

I do distribute my wealth across 4 accounts. Since the last ban I bought a monthly vps that I was logging into specifically for this account. It didn't seem to help.

Wow, that really sucks! Only people I have ever seen banned in the last 2 years were people who traded with people located in china. I suppose since you have previous bans they are tracking you. Best of luck rebuilding.

Ouch, i'm sure you'll eventually make back your losses; if you haven't already.

 

Actually, I'm very surprised. I've bought gold like 7-8 times in the past month, the biggest amount being about 2.7b, and nothing has happened.

Reason I mention is because the farmer I was buying gold from has a very well known website and he's literally always in the same spot in lumby. He's been using the same account for months to sell to hundreds of people and a ban is yet to come.

In your case, although you said the level 3 wasn't banned, there's several risks with buying with one account and selling with another:

1. You're using a level 3 to buy the gold. As you may know, Jagex is very vigilant of level 3 accounts when it comes to RWT and/or botting.

2. You're adding unnecessary risk to your transactions by transferring from level 3 to main, and from main to seller. You should've either bought with main and sold from there, or gone with the level 3 (although eventually you would've been caught).

3. You mentioned you had been banned before. That basically puts a target on your back, regardless.

I guess it's just bad luck. Good luck going forward though ;p
