Highly likely it was Jagex, a lot of people seem to have been done in by Jagex. Avoid likely hotspots such as GE and Lumbridge as a precaution I guess.

 

Why would a keylogger erase any trace of IP addresses? It must have been Jagex. If it was a keylogger/hacker or something, they'd have needed you to type in your details for each account including bank pins, passwords etc. and it would have surely left an IP address on it too. Are you sure you didn't just get caught in a phishing attempt via email or something? I mean... if you aren't retarded, I doubt it was a hacker. If you have over $8k in gold, i'm assuming it must have been Jagex as they obviously hold all info on all of your accounts and hold trade logs of everyone.

yes, I can confirm this. However, the account with the white partyhat taken, had a ip address that was not mine, all other accounts had no IP.

 

Confirm these statements:

Was there gold in the grand exchange on any of these accounts?
Were the orders open/cancelled?
Have your virus scans turned out clean?

I'm much more inclined to believe it was jagex, not a hacker. Theyve done this to a few people lately.

 

If it was a RAT they could have done the transfer by logging in on his own computer.

The fact that another IP doesn't show up doesn't prove anything.

#5. It shows you last logged in, and then no I.P was given. I do not have screenies as I was shitting bricks. And checking my accounts was first on my mind, rather than gathering evidence.

 

You were wiped by Jagex I'm about 90% sure. Happened to me too.

Its a bad idea right now to keep too much stock in hand. And from what ive noticed, it's been in trade that jagex nailed people. Correct me if I'm wrong viou but I thought you said you were in trade aswell.

Been doing much more member world trades/stakes.
