If it was under 5 minutes, I would have to agree with what most guys said, it was Jagex. No doubt about this now I guess, since you were in the middle of the trade, and remembered the Nuke Day and how Jagex made significant improvements to their "defense" system. It's almost 99% clear now that it was Jagex who erased your items.

Since no one could actually take items off 5 of your accounts, in less than 5 minutes. You would have to consider the log on and off time, time to bank when there's more than 28 different items, time to connect to your PC, time to log off and a lot of different factors you would have to consider. So I would say it was Jagex most likely.

They caught you, red-handed, during a trade.

 

Your fogetting Jagex can spawn items... They remove his party hat, spawn another one and sell it on the GE, therefore non is lost.

Your pc is compromised. honestly i would not touch those pc's until they're sorted out. if you have any valuables left secure those accounts on a pc you know is safe.

If it was jagex, I'd check to see if you have anything in your inbox on runescape. I'm not sure if they'd leave a message or not. I know viou got a ban, but idk the details.

 

If this was not Jagex, I fail to see why they would stop with RSGP when they have Paypal etc at their disposal.

What are your plans on making it back, if any plan is intended at all. How will you cope, that is a lot of money.

 

Sounds like the work of Jagex honestly, it would take MUCH longer than 5 minutes to transfer items from 5 accounts as well as checking the bank/GE.

Also, if it truly was another person, your Sythe account, MSN, Paypal, etc. would most likely have been compromised as well.

 

You have been hacked. Dont believe this bullshit it was jagex. Scan ur pc with malwarebytes. The best option though is to reformat ur pc and install fresh system.

If its jagex, you receive a msg, punker is right, and some offence points. Also I think if that's right, jagex has a buyer on the forum who is catchin gold sellers, or just what is most likely the case: keylogger of any kind. Maby u caught it awhile ago and u got cleaned now or if u chatted or talked via skype, i heared some ppl got hacked while doin that.

Like I previously mentioned, if an individual was this way inclined they certainly wouldn't stop at the RSGP when they'd have things such as your Sythe account at their fingertips.

 

If you have any reason to believe at all that it wasn't jagex, you better get to changing those passwords. Should scan with malwarebytes and avg as well.

 

jagex don't message you, nor do they email you when they roll your wealth.

Also, to your above post, if you're using avg to scan your pc you might aswell welcome hackers with open arms.

Futhermore, you can setup keyloggers to only log what is typed in on the runescape website or through rsbuddy and the nexus client, so that could be why everything else is okay.

 

Jagex has been known to cash-wipe accounts it suspects of RWT. Sorry it happened to you, but this is what happened I'm sure. The hacker thing is impossible given the information you've provided about the event

Please, oh please don't listen to either of these two idiots.

Think of it like this; if it was Jagex, why would they remove the wealth? Why not ban the accounts, which is faster and easier for them?

Furthermore, how would Jagex be able to time exactly when to take the wealth off so that you weren't there?

Now, let's say it was a RAT. If your attackers knew that you had $8000 cumulatively, as well as knowing that they had full access to each of your mules - then I suppose they would have gotten some help from a friend or two, making it a much more realistic time frame to clean out your bank.

With the ability to access your webcam and attain full control of your PC via a RAT, an attacker would be able to tell when you were away from your computer, before a trade so that you already had the wealth easily accessible.

In any case, if what you are saying is all accurate, neither really sounds plausible - but I really do doubt that Jagex would manually do a wipe like that. Previously, even if you were rolled back and your wealth was removed, the GE slots were left untouched.

Ive changed all the passwords on my other pc and disconnected the infected pc from the internet

 

I traded before with Imhindu@... (or Imhinduu@..., idk). He scammed me.
