I used to be a hardcore, I guess you could say, Runescape/WoW player, anime/manga addict and much more. I've pretty much played and seen them all.
Since I quit, I started working out and focusing on my education. In the past year or two, I started working out, I'm in great shape, and have improved greatly in school. I also got the opportunity to have a girlfriend. Although, my love for these games keep calling to me.
I love anime, fantasy games and everything in between, but is getting back into them really worth risking what I've worked so hard to gain? I mean, with all the stuff I've got going on, somethings going to have to drop out if I start again.

Thoughts?

You have to find balance in everything, you play a game for certain amount of time in a week and go hang out with people, and study, and et cetera. Just remember, you have to be aware of how much time you spend on a game.

Dude Play Games when you have nothing better to do? If your girlfriend says "hey lets go out tonight." Then go? Don't be like "naw babe I gotta get level 138 on Runescape tonight! I'm so close!" Because guess what? The game is going to be exactly where you left off when you return. I like gaming and shit a lot also, but what I do is do it when I have nothing else going on or something I need to/want to do. If that happens a lot sometimes great, if not, then that's great too. Another thing, just game at night or something if you stay up late. Go on at like 10:30 - 11ish if your still awake/can be awake then. Play then for a few hours if you want, if you have nothing important going on the next day. Always have to balance stuff man.

Do what makes you happy. If Gaming is boring don't do it. That simple.

You basically stated your life turned out better for you since you quit gaming. But your also saying you want to play video games i don't understand why can't you play video games and still have a social life and stay in shape.

Playing games daily get me in to a mode to where eventually I just say "screw the gym, I think I'll stay home today" and then the next day same thing, I've caught myself doing this before.
I'm also aware it is my choice to do what I like. This wasn't some big question I needed people to come and answer for me. All I simply wanted was advice...

I wouldn't quit gaming for anything. If you want to game don't be afraid just play in moderation.

If you truely believe that you can't bring balance to your life. Then don't start gaming again.
