General Staff Feedback

This personally bothered me a great deal, and the explanations given were unsatisfactory to boot.

 

I was on holiday for a few days in Plymouth so I didn't have access to a computer. Back at work now and just mega busy. Still trying to do what I can

 

It's probably because the staff do take this into account when supporting and not supporting pardons, remember it was a suggestion thread, the suggestion is already being applied to pardons, so it was closed. It's not a new thing, if you want to discuss the pardon system and ban evading, I assume you'd be free to make a feedback thread to discuss this, although knowing the current staff, it would probably be locked there as well.

Eh, my original point still stands anyway, that was a suggestion thread, the suggestion itself(taking ban evading into perspective for high pardons) was already being done, so a suggestion thread wouldn't really make sense.

I'd like to second this, at least the part about PM's. I don't pester Verts with PM's in anyway, but I've sent her quite a few on various topics over the past few years, and I've never had to wait more then a day for a response.

I think it would be neat if we could see the level or administrator activity that we once had, even if it's just messing around in the spam forum or the IRC, but I understand that you're all busy. Even when Finn did his stupid little fundraising techniques, the activity in the Spam Forum would go crazy. People go ga-ga trying to impress the Administrators, even a few posts creates a craze.

 

That's a very quick time if you ask me. The staff are unpaid and generally there are only a few in each section. Considering they could all be asleep or at school or whatever in that time, it's fine.

Cosrob and Video, doing a great job with spam reports as usual, keep it up and thanks.

 

I post around the spam forum occasionally and pop in to IRC now and again. It's just one of those things that isn't really a priority but it's nice to do every now and again.

 

As the beneficiary of the thread, i feel its outcome was okay and didn't mind it being locked.

 

The lock was necessary. The staff have a voting system for a reason and pardons are looked at differently case-by-case.

 

It is not like fireZ is going out of his way to go post on people vouch topics and say there vouches are pathetic. It is people who disregarded the rules for there own personal gain and then try to pretend they are much better then they actually look to be.

We need a strict mod that doesnt take shit and is honest and says it right to your face.

Nick - This guy may not seem active, but holy hell does this guy care about this site, even when other admins don't reply, Nick does, he tries to fix your issues and is one of the best admins this site has had for a while. I know he had/has issues with me but that didn't make a difference when he tried helping me. Thanks a lot.

I don't think we should be pressuring our admins to be spending their time in areas such as the spam forum. As I said in my previous threads that were completely skewed by the intentional misinterpretations, the admins should be focusing the time that they do have with the site on things that are important to growth and progression, not menial things such as the spam forum. All of our admins have told us they have to work and such, which is understandable, but when they do come on the site they shouldn't feel the need to use that time to entertain people in the spam forum or on other threads.

Why is this SuF? Pretty sure it is feedback you know, to a decision made on this website. Can't handle it? Oh well.
