GE Merchanting Guide

Hi, I’m I KO I and I made a guide to merchant in GE, I don’t think it is good enough to sell so it’s free.


So I discovered how to make a profit while I was cleaning out my mains bank. I came across around 2k vials, so I went to GE to sell and saw that they sold for around 69gp ea, but by accident I also saw how much filled vials sell for. So instead of selling by empty vials for around 138k, I used a fountain to fill them up. And that’s when I saw I could make a profit off of buying empty vials and selling water filled. After 71 trips of going back and forth to the fountain and bank, I sold my 2k water filled vials for 172k, a 34k profit. Yes, it may be a bit slow to make a reasonable profit, but after buying enough vials and filling them you can make a good profit. Now to get started you need around 10k to really get started, so go to GE buy around 144 empty vials depending on price and start filling. Now here you have several choices on where you can fill your vials, you can use the fountain by the east Varrock bank, you can use the fountain inside the Varrock palace by the GE or like I use, the sink in Edgeville in the little house next to the bank. So just from filling empty vials and selling them on GE you can make a reasonably profit. I admit, it does take kind of long to fill them, but anyone can do this, you don’t need any skill, just full energy and vials.

yeah merchanting is when you sell something higher than what you bought it for.
This is pretty nice guide, good effort.

it is merchanting but not very much , very relaxed slowed down 4/10 from being around for so long

Use the cooking guild to fill the vials.... a bank and a sink like 5 game feet away from each other

Thats not a bad idea. Since the 3k limit you can't really merchant beacause you can't buy things for lower price than normal so you have to buy something and than upgrade it ;P Thats what i do with the cowhides and leather ( name of the topic "[Guide] money making guide for newbs")

whats a really good thing to buy then upgrade thats sells alot?i found vials and hides to be verry crappy money.

hmm... To upgrade, maybe buy like different amulets, rings, bracelets, etc and enchant them and then resell, dunno though if you make or lose money but you could give it a try. Best of luck!
