Gay Marriage

Have you recently stoned anyone for wearing mixed fiber clothing or touching swine flesh?

 

Speaking of re-quoting the bible...:

According to the Bible it's okay to rape someone, you just have to buy her afterwards. There are also commandments against eating pork, against wearing garments of mixed fabrics, and for stoning your son to death if he disobeys you. Do you HONESTLY think the Bible is a sound moral code to judge this issue on? Personally I find it incredibly, INCREDIBLY abhorrent, especially when it comes to sexuality.

 

Neither do I; you wouldn't see me in the streets protesting against it. Neither would I - forgive me the analogy - appear in the streets when humans are allowed to marry animals. I don't think this or polygamy is morally unacceptable. I just probably would no longer believe in marriage myself.

I fully agree that there one day could be some sort of civil institution for polygamy.

I am a Christian and I absolutely agree. I don't promote discrimination of sexual orientation in ways other than marriage, but I strongly believe that love is only between a man and a woman.

Many people are not against it because its plain wrong to frown upon a relationship because you were born with a certain pair of chromosones.

Gay is not a choice, you can't ask someone why they are gay, they wouldn't be able to tell you the answer.

I honestly hate this the whole gay marriage debate as people only see their point of view and cannot actually feel what the other side feels.
