No support, like others have said there is a ton of problems associated with an automatic bump system, as for a button? It takes me 1 second to write "bump" and another to clear my thread of "bumps" I've made.

 

Not going to happen. Why reinvent the wheel, posting to bump works just fine.

 

It would only cause problems, people bump when they're online, someone mightn't come online for 24 hours, and their thread has been bumped excess of 3 times already. Pointless, the system intact now works fine.

i find people have to care by them self to think when they have to bump, when you either abuse it or anything else you will be punished. also i think powerbot got that aswell and in my opinion it's kind off a copy cat

I don't see the point in bumping anyway, people will respond to your thread or shop or whatever the case maybe if they're interested. Just because your thread is first doesn't mean you'll get all the customers. I scroll and read each thread and usually stay away from shops that bump constantly because those are usually the less used and more desperate. I mean a bump once every now and then is okay but c'mon if your thread is only 4 or 5 threads down it's unnecessary.

I think the current system is fine. A post shows that the user is active, rather than having an empty boring thread with zero activity.

 

I don't see why anyone would need a bump button. It doesn't take much effort to bump, and you shouldn't worry about bumps taking up most of your thread. No need to introduce any more stress on the website just to save you five keystrokes and a mouse click.
