What does age have to do with this. The information i'm saying is obviously been taken into consideration by stelthebell since he edited his OP.

Tell me what doesn't make any logical sense and I'll explain it to you. I applaud him for making an attempt but if you're going to try help someone, do it right.

You have no say in whats a good guide and a bad guide because you know NOTHING about the topic.

You actually have no say in this because you no nothing about the topic at all. Jesus some people are so ignorant and arrogant on this site, im just going to put you on ignore, maybe in a few years you will understand the basic concepts of bodybuilding. Sorry for the disruption of your thread by this child OP.

Some suggestions for your guide OP: "Breath so you dont get a hernia"
Specify that you should breath in when lifting weights and exhale when releasing the stress (Lowering the weights).
Maybe also say that for beginner weight-lifters it is better to start off by using machines (Mechanical Lat pull down, ect) untill you build some core basic strength and then you can move on to to deadlifts and bench press, ect.
Leg Exercises: Maybe specify that beginners could start off by doing Leg Press or Leg Curls, and the proper way to do these exercises on the machines (i.e. Leg curls put the seat all the way back, Chest up, Toes pointed to the ceiling,)
its a good starting guide, but needs alot more in-detail description of things and more details.
Also reccomend brands of protein and where to get them, and specify if you just want protein for protein shakes or you want something that makes you gain weight as well.

    Wrong.

Lat pulldowns will build hardly any core strength since the exercise isolates the latissimus dorsi's. Compound exercises like the bench press, deadlift and squat will help you build that core strength.

False, because i didn't just say "JUST DO LAT PULLDOWNS", i said lat pulldowns, ect, meaning other machines like vertical row, chest press, ect.

Most machines are still isolation exercises (excluding a few). None of them really build up core strength like a squat or deadlift.

Deathsnova, you're talking like you're 25 and have been going to the gym past 5 years. Judging by your body stature you haven't the gym in ages. This guide is flawed, age doesn't involve this subject so don't bring it up. Blazee is on the right track with some of his points and so is the OP, some of the OP's points are misleading however.

arn't you 15? and i've seen your photos, so what makes you a weightlifting expert?

leave it to the people who acctlly have lifted weights kiddo.

    @the op.

salmon is a good choice over tuna if possible, there is nothing wrong with creatine, also, just lifting weights with no set plan will not get you what you want, you can go to the gym all year round and still get minium results, fact of the matter his you need to rotate HIIT with endurance training.

lifting weights only also is a bad idea, you need to work on cardio, no that does not mean get on a tredmill, go jogging outside prefably on soft grass. don't neglect jump ropes ethier.

The information in this thread is extremely misleading.. It's like a typical 15 year old kid's broscience guide, and some of the responses are pretty lulsy.

Don't listen to bb.com or /fit/, Sythe.org nonlifting posters have much better knowledge. Makes sense.

Most personal trainer's clients are fat women doing crunches over a bosu ball with no change in diet. Does he even lift?

brb did legs yesterday, arms don't work cant work any other body part. A day of rest between muscle groups, sure.

You can eat one meal with all of your macros (In one sitting) and make perfectly fine gains.

Flat out wrong on the protein/sitting.

    lol @ protein fix

you don't say... you want amino acids in your protein?

Doesn't recommend creatine, mercury in tuna is fine.

Carbs are fine, minor bloating especially if you don't drink enough water.

u w0t m8. Canned tuna is fresh, yeah okay.

    the fuck? lolllll wtf

v-taper... those are lats. (not your shoulders or chest)

Abdominal muscles are exactly the same as other muscles, they respond to heavy lifting. Situps don't help.

finally a good piece of information! nitpicking the fact that you wont look even close to arnold without knowing how to lift (and juice) correctly.

    cliffs:
    dont listen to OP

This thread is actually pretty harmful to people who may be interested in lifting. Completely butchers the fundamental ideas surrounding lifting, and actually making progress. (Not like any logical person would take advice from someone on this forum.)

    I'm going to close this.
I've read it over and there are a few things that are wrong. I've been lifting weights for a while now and I can see there are few things in there that are wrong.. :/

Next time you make a guide try to structure it a bit better too :p (not why I am closing it but if a guide looks good, more people will read it)
