well guys i got a lvl 99 that got permantly banned and had both appeal attempts denied so i'm guessing i'm never going to get that account back?

 

Im prety sure jagex have a record of the IP that have made the account. So let say you bot with out a proxy, and you get ban with you're IP. To detect if some one actually went on you're account they will check the IP, which the IP that was used when you got banned. And the IP that was used when you made the account. If it is the same then jagex will of course concluded that it was not a hacked account.

So if you change you're IP to something completley new that have never been recorded on you're runescape account. And you try to appeal with it, then i don't think jagex will fall for it. But gratz on geting you're account back.

Works. You can also use HotShield, it auto proxies you.

Jagex does look at IP numbers or they would not accuse and ban people for multi logging in. If you want to bot smartly, or just suicide bot then simply bot with a proxy running (you can use a network proxy instead of a mirror) which hides your IP number for any browser you use (which would affect any bot client you use, so you'd be logging in under the proxy) alas when you are not botting simply turn the proxy off and go on with your daily internet activities. Maybe do some legit work on the account equal to the botting time so if you do only bot under a proxy and you log in with your normal IP and play normally, get banned then it should be easier to appeal knowing it shows that your personal IP number that was playing legitly was not botting, knowing you where botting only under a proxy. I'm not sure if this still works, it used to personally for me (botting under a proxy) but that appeal seems good if you go under a proxy.

I only see one problem with this: if you botted/played legitly on the account and was also the account creator at the time with the same IP number, then go under a proxy how would that show that you are the actual owner of the account? That's why I explained it's best to use a proxy when botting, then play legitly on your own IP.
