Format?

    Format?
    Well I just bought a new external hard drive for my computer.
    Am I suppose to format it? It shows up on my computer and everything but I dunno if Im suppose to format it. And if I am suppose to how would I do it?

    On file system it says NTFS and it says the same thing on my internal drive so I don't know if I should.

    in my computer, right click, format, make sure its not set to quick.
