Forgotten champions in the lcs?

I mean seriously, it proves how unbalanced champions are in league, you expect the exact same picks every game or you'll see the same champion, I know the "professionals" say things like you can't play darius in high elo because he's easily kited, but I hate that, it just proves my point.

I mean yeah, you might have seen one of these champions picked once in a blue moon and I took some off that I think are hardly played too, blitz, warwick etc...

Is it only me who is bothered by this? If I was watching the lcs for the first time I wouldn't even know 70% of the champions existed, like seriously and once the professionals pick up the one champion you love to play and play it well in high elo, well then get ready because in lcs you'll not only find loads of people playing that champion, but you'll then see it get banned in a lot of games and then the next thing you know your champion is nerfed...
I've seen this happen to many times (recently- fizz, pantheon, renekton,riven, ziggs, corki) for me to even be bothered anymore I might aswell just stick to the "hot picks" from now on, it's just a matter of time before jax is insta banned and nerfed, what do you guys think /discuss

Nah most LCS teams dont use supports anymore, just look at gambit.

In the current LCS, Shen and Sona have never been banned, and rarely picked.

Everything changes, new metas come out. You're right about the bandwagon champs though. Someone in the LCS can carry 30-0 with a soraka top and everyone will start doing it. It's nuts.

Anivia- Froggen has used it to counter Kayle one

Darius- My boy Master Yoshii (Only Rengar) ripped this one out in the Na Challenger series

Galio- Played once in European LCS

Jarvan IV- Seen a lot of playtime in Na Challenger Series

Jax- Crs Quas played this a couple times

Karma- Still used as a support once in a while, mainly in OGN

Kennen- Edward ripped this out in Eu LCS as a support more than once

Leona- Probably one of the most contested picks as a support right now

Mordekaiser- Seen more than once

Morgana- Used as a support multiple times by multiple team. Used as a soft counter to leona/annie

Sona- Seen quite a bit of playtime recently

Soraka- EG used with this Urgot for a couple of wins

Syndra- I've seen this a couple of times. All very good showings.

Urgot- Seen it with Urgot on EG

Varus- Wizfujins main ADC, also seen on other teams



A few more were seen in the challenger brackets like Volibear and Malzahar

Like any other game, there is a meta and at high levels people are going to play it.

If you watch a lot of none tournament streams just like general challenger players then you will see a lot more of these guys out and about on summoners rift, nobody is gonna go into a big tournament with the intention of using some tier 4 char at the time just for the sake of switching it up, as entertainin as it might be it's still their jobs at the end of the day.

I'm saying that other countries metas use these champions over the NA/EU metas. Certain champions that you haven't listed appear as often or less as some I listed. Lissandra, Zed, Nunu are just a few I can think of off the top of my head.
