Forbidding Trading Discord Advertisements

My discord is okay? I take gold channel out I’m ok?

Even tho my discord has barely 10 people, I just have to remove the Paid Advertisements and Gold/Account trading channels right? Make it purely service based.

If thats the goal, I really like this idea, would bring nice activity on the forums, look forward to it.

 

Anything that allows others to trade.

 

Just for our stance on this to be as clear as possible and to answer some questions

• Discord Servers with open market channels are not allowed. This includes ANY sort of platform on discord that facilitates peer to peer trading that would be considered competition to Sythe.
• Trading on discord is still allowed. Users are allowed to message each other freely and may conduct business as usual in Direct Messages.
• Service Discords are allowed to be advertised as long as there are no open market channels.
• Users who have bought/sold advertising space (such as a signature or user title) for a discord that breaks the above rules, you can either refund for the remaining time or swap the advertisement for something else.

These are publicly open channels for anyone to advertise their accounts in. As stated above, if your Discord server is only for advertising your own services/accounts then it's allowed.

Question having a sponsor for rsps still allowed in discord yea? Aslong as no open markets correct?

 

I think this will affect a few members of Sythe's businesses, but will result in more activity on Sythe which I think is great.

 

The world does not need 100 different trading Discords, anyways. The majority of people are just copy pasting the same message across all of them. It's more efficient if everyone just uses the #Sythe one.

Good update I was getting tired of all the damn discords anyways people constantly adding me on discord and in order to trade them I had to join that damn trade bungalow shit. Thank you Jesus for this update so happy now.

 

Does that mean Trusted Trades will be shut down? Yes its run by admins but its not owned by Sythe correct?

Glad this finally passed. Not only were (some, not all) trading groups direct competition to Sythe, they were also very prone to scammers and vaders still trying to do business.
