    Fingerprint recognition on phones

Do you like this feature if your phone has it or do you find it to be annoying?

Personally i like it but its very touchy, as even a wet finger will cause it not to recognize it is you.

Honnestly, I think it's a good addition to phones. Feels stable on mine and secure.

I got it on my Iphone, works great.
Tbh if you got a wet finger just wipe it dry, not a big problem if you ask me.

Its a nice feature for security. Very easy and simple to do just swipe your finger. On the Iphone 5s it works well and I'm sure on Iphone 6 and Iphone 6s it works way faster and better.

It's super annoying. It worked for the first month, but after that it's a 1/10 chance that it'll let me in.

    Iphone 5s btw. blek

    Fingerprint recognition on phones

I had it on my tab S until it stopped recognizing my fingerprint and I had to wipe the tablet since my back up pass stopped working as well. Lost a bunch of files, pictures and movies but now I stick to a pin code which is far less convenient than the fingerprint scanner

Might be due to the fact that mine was the first iphone to have the finger print scanner (the iphone 5s). I have like 4 or 5 different fingerprints. Still no bueno so I just use my 4 digit password.

I've got an iPhone 5s and an iPhone 6s. On both phones the fingerprint recognition works perfectly. The iPhone 6s scans my finger so fast that I can't access the lockscreen shortcuts anymore. It logs me in instantly

Samsung S6, took about 5 minutes of 'place and take off your finger' and never worked. Pin will be fine thanks.

I had it on my iPad and it's really faulty. I don't trust it. A pin is simple and effective.

Fingerprints are inherently insecure, which is why you're prompted to enter a regular password the first time you turn on your phone.

But I do like the idea, its nice to login with just the touch of a finger. When you let someone use their phone they're kept out. If it was stolen the phone would go back to locked by the time they started messing with your important apps.

Mine works a good 90% of the time, unless I'm holding a cold glass and my fingers get a little pruned. In that case you can just type in your pw/pin.

I like it, however if its even slightly humid or the slightest bit of sweat on tips of fingers, it will refuse to work. Beyond that I really like having it on my phone to open it quicker :p

As long as it works I see no issue with fingerprint recognition, much safer than a 4 digit pass code without a doubt.
