Fight Caves: Rune C'bow or Karils?

I'm a zerker pure aiming to get a fire cape with 84 range, so I'm not sure on what set up I should go for.

With karil's, I have around 134 ranged bonus with 12 prayer bonus.

With a rune c'bow plus zammy book, I can have a 17 prayer bonus with 148 range bonus.

The difference in both is the speed, which I'm not sure whether to be crucial in fight caves.
The speed to power ratio seems to kinda even it out, I think, then again I haven't tried the caves with Karil's yet.

Well, I, Personally, at 82 defence 79 range used rune crossbow with diamond (e) the whole way;
I think this is cheaper

 

I personally used the Rune C'bow because it was cheaper than Karils, and I had used Karils before, I ran out of racks and they were more expensive that the setup of bolts I had used the next time.

I used mith/addy bolts upto jad, then at jad, diamond e bolts.

 

yup as stated several times above, rune c bow is better and more cost efficient, try ruby bolts to start off on jad and after you do some damage to do it, go with diamond bolts.

 

btw ruby bolts should only be used if you have excess amount of food because it does some damage back to you.

 

From lots and lots of experience, rune c'bow is way better, hits much harder and is way cheaper. Karils hits a lot of 0's depending on your range level and isn't worth the cost.

Using diamond bolts (e) I did it quite comfortably at 77 range 70 def 55Pray.

 

With 84 range, 45 def and 46 prayer, what would you reckon to be a more viable set up?

 

proslyte helm, rune c bow, and get cornucopia to save money on the sweets.

 

Other than that, the rest are fine?

 

if your dead set on doing it with 79 range than go with diamond bolots e and rune c bow but if you are willing to get your ranged levle up thn i would go with x-bow

 

I would go with rune c'bow for sure cause you can use enchanted bolts ect

Definitely Rune C Bow.

It's cheaper and hits harder depending on bolts used.

if you want to get more pray bonus, i would say change the boots to white knight boots. altho it only adds +1 to pray bonus. when i got mine I had karils skirt, karils top, proc helm, sara book, fury, white knight gloves, rune c bow, broad bolts and diamond bolts e.

btw that cornacopia thing can only hold up to 14HP worth of food. which is not better then sweets. cheaper, yes, but not as efficient.

 

yeah I used cbow with adamant bolts, but if you have the money to spend on 3.5k+ bolt racks, go for it. Karils is very fast and hits relatively hard.
