Ffs, banned.

Recently, I swapped my main for a rune pure with 99 cooking, 91 fm. After a few days playing legit on the game gaining woodcutting levels, guess what? It gets banned. Now, I won't report this guy because he probably didn't know it would get banned. Any idea what I should put for the appeal?

 

Well, if its for macroing, you're more than likely screwed. Since you bought the account, your IP is already different than his, so you can probably send it from your computer. Just cry about how you were hacked and had no idea, etc.

If it was him that was macroing and you say it wasn't you, you should get it back. I've gotten banned for macroing while someone has botted on my account and got it back because it wasn't my ip doing the botting.

If its a macro ban, the guy who sold you the shit knew about it, and was looking for a fast deal to get rid of his soon banned account.
if he botted 24/7 during 3 days to get cook cape, he knew he ll be banned LATER anyway(bans are delayed)
report this bitch and get back your acc. Its obviously not your fault if the acc has been banned, nor its unluck, therefore its the guy u swapped with.

 

Tbh if you were banned for macroing, obviously the guy macroed and if he left this detail out while you guys were trading, then most people would consider it a scam. He knew he was going to be banned, so he tried to sell it while he could. I would suggest appealing saying it was not you who did the botting and maybe since your IPs are different it will get unbanned, but I'm doubtful of it.

 

Thats a strong accusation........ Lots of people bot on accounts, he may of only macroed once 2 months ago and it took that long for the ban to go through, don't go around saying stuff like that when theres no evidence at all.....


Ot: Thats sucks bro, only thing you can really do is say you were hacked as your on a diff ip, they rarely unban botted accounts :embar:

nonetheless he knew that the account had been botted on before and should have said something, i would say the guy scammed you personally.

 

try it in a year or two, it will work then, since jagex will assume you learned your lesson

Wow...when you bot, your notified that you will get banned and that your risking your account when botting. There's no "he might not know" when botting. Obviously, you can report him and recover your account...

It's like me giving you a pen for your pencil, and you try it out and there's no ink in it. I might of "not known"...

In response to everybody saying he was scammed -

Many accounts that have been flagged on the Black Market have been randomly banned for "Macroing." Even Badger was banned like this, seeing as his Sythe name is the same as his RS name.


In response to OP - Just appeal it that it wasn't you, but be prepared to have to recover the account.

 

He probably sold it, because he knew he'd been Macroing and he'd get banned, I'd say ask him for a refund, if he says no, then Probably Report him for Scamming, see what the Mods/Admins say about the situation.

 

Jagex could of also made a mistake, and later Quash or w.e it is when they make a mistake

 

It doesn't matter what you put in you appeal. One I got through was written in Chinese, and it said you all are homos.

 

Claim account theft and that it wasn't you. That would be your only shot
