Feedback required - Sythe logo

It's very over the top for a logo
Logos should be simple and recognizable.

 

But where is the creativity in that, nonetheless what do you propose?

 

I think you're very talented and it's hard to make a decision by the progress thus far. However, I'm looking forward to seeing the end result.

 

I know the final thing would look better but i'm unsure if i should move on.
some don't seem to like it.

 

I think it's very unique although i would remove the environment like alot of people said it should be something more clean. Anyways good luck!

 

Really cool project but definitely wouldn't quite work as the logo for Sythe.

 

Simplicity is key brother for a logo imo.

 

Continue on. Worst case it's not what everyone agrees with and we start anew.

 

It's very creative but definitely not a logo. As many have stated before logo's tend to be more on the basic side. Heck, I dislike our current logo as I think Alteranz made way better logos that wouldn't make sythe look like a guild site but something with a strong identity to it. Legibility is also an issue, you can't quite see from first glance that it is actually Sythe, perhaps when the color is added on the text however it will mitigate that issue.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking this. It's very creative and I love what you're doing with it. If it's just art work it's great. In terms of a logo though it isn't very good.

 

Raze, what does Sythe (rich) think? I'd finish it and go from there.

 

Richards initial response was that he liked it, he wanted to see the communities opinion first.
