Feedback required - Sythe logo

Oh I love how simple but nice it is. Would that background work with the logo we have now?

Edit : idk if a simple background like that would work with the fancy logo

 

I did my version of a simplistic logo here!

 

After reading your description of each letter I understand what they mean, but personally I like the old Sythe image best. Just saw ThersGods image posted above and like it as well. Simplicity is often the best route, when you have to much going on it cancels each other out and just creates chaos. My favorite part of the current design is the scale being the T, not necessarily the use of it as the T, but more the idea of its use in trades such as a certain weight in gold, weighing out other trades, and what have you matching the theme of this site, buying and selling, trading and dealing. The equality and justice thing sure but when Sythe is primarily built on scammers (not everyone of course) like most online sites, it doesn't really hit home in that aspect besides banning them.

It's a nice design, and it threw me off when it was just there one day. I glanced at this thread a couple days before it was put up, a couple stages before the glowing eyes and stuff were added. Just not sure if it's the best for the site.

This. It's wayyyy too busy with Moonglare's background, it doesn't seem to fit in at all either. Sticks out like a sore thumb.

 

The "S" is the what doesn't look good - The zigzag tail just doesn't fit

 

Some hate S, some hate T, some hate H etc etc.
I don't think it will be possible to tailor something perfect to everyone needs, still thanks for the input kronix

 

Alteranz's is so clean and simple, love his as well. We should definitely get a poll up for all possible logos so the community can decide again. As it is now, about half of us like Raze's and half don't.
