Feedback for Sythe

List me 3 members who have repaid after getting DnT and then have it removed. Please list me THREE members out of the close to 100 with DnT.

I had no issue with the pardon system, I'm not a fan of the DnT system at all as I have yet to see it actually work. Maybe you can prove to me otherwise though?

And also what does having a DnT member do for the community as a whole? They make shit posts while their victims are active on site at the same time. I don't remember seeing a system implemented irl where they put felons in with functioning members of society and expect something great to happen. I'm rambling on now, but I'm trying to just understand why you think it is so GREAT, when I've seen pretty much nothing positive come from it.

 

Actions speak louder than words period. All DnT takes are some choice words, no actions necessary. They aren't required to pay back in a timely fashion and most haven't either. This is why i am so strongly against it. Yes I lack empathy it's impossible for me to put myself in these people's shoes. I need to see some actions; not hear some stupid ass excuses that you got hooked to some drugs and scammed or you made a mistake and are a better person now. Pay back and prove it then we should be able to talk. Until then you are undesired, this is the way it was and I had no problems with it. People should have to earn their way back, not for it be handed to them.

As for drama bans, it's a totally different ball game, but the DnT system should not be used for that like it was used in the past previously. S/o 151

Thanks for those 3, don't really mean to nitpick but RSC wasn't going anywhere, hell he wasn't even banned to begin with and never applied for the DnT. But I'm glad to see this system is working on some level.

 

Sythe is awesome. I've spoken to him on discord multiple times and although he does get annoyed a bit of the time because he is interrupted whilst he is busy doing something overall he is a very kind individual. I do understand he is trying to make this site better so I would say that as long as he can keep up the good work and listen to peoples suggestions/feedback (which is what he is currently doing) then the site will continue to grow and hopefully with legitimate people rather than ban evaders.

 

Looks we can scratch one off of that list lol

 

and both those other ones, if sythe actually read the cases, were simply users who were precautionarily DNTed, which would have been a precautionary ban otherwise. These are not users who were allowed DNT to come back to the site lol.

Doing a great job with the site and SytheLib/RSPS development.

 

Been doing great so far especially with listening to suggestions inlcuding Dota Market and Introductory PM. Overall, seeing a lot more activity which is great and keep it up!

 

Richard's activity has been steady for a long time, unlike the activity of certain other staff members. I very much appreciate your work for the site

I think he is doing great for the amount of time and for how busy he is. There is only one negative which I was slightly unhappy with and that would be the Bitcoin donation system. It was absolutely phenomenal and allowed Sythe users to donate with BTC directly to Sythe rather than with PayPal which some people (including myself) do not have access to. Other than that, I hold absolutely no concerns.

Would you consider as it is your site putting a timeline to start making payments to the person who was scammed? I'm referring to DNT. Would you consider making the user who is a DNT have a timeline of which they have to pay back the person whom was scammed? Even on probation you still have to pay your fines and pay them on time in order to avoid going back to jail. I'm not opposed to the system I think it does give people opportunity.

 

@Sythe That's fair as well, and I understand the need to retain users I do. But at the same time if you're offering people this chance and they aren't taking advantage of the second chance given to them simply abusing the system at that point is that really people we want around? I understand the system can be abused other ways as well. But it's like a golden ticket system right now and everyone gets a ticket.

 

Deep down he's probably a good guy but I'm just not seeing it currently.... From his stale ass memes in gravechat to using good honest hard working Americans to shill ripple. Proof here -
