Fastest/Cheapest way to get 99 - Smithing/Craft/Herb

Just wondering the fastest way to get 99 in these skills, I know herb you can clean herbs but that takes far too long.

Basically if price is not an option just do 2k of each extreme and super attacks to start and hop to spec restores.
Smithing I did all plate bodies till I got to 99.
Crafting I botted cannon balls wile I was on vacation all the way untill 99 not the fastest way but tip.it will help you a lot.

Smithing (All prices above level 33 can be halved with SC hammers)
1-33 (Bronze Bars) - 200k PROFIT
33-53 (Iron Platebody) - 500k
53-68 (Mith Bolt unf) - 3.6M
68-73 (Mith Platebody) - 5.4M
73-75 (Adamant Bolt unf) - 2.6M
75-88 (Adamant Arrowhead) - 23.6M
88-99 (Adamant Platebody) - 73M

Crafting (All prices can be halved with SC needles)
1-28 (Soft Leather make the best you can) - 10-20k APPROX
28-63 (Hardleather Bodies) - 40k
63-99 (Green D'hide Bodies) - 95.5M


Those are for Smithing and Crafting the best way's, that's what I made for someone last week.

 

For smithing - I gained 40-99 smithing and 55-99 magic superheating gold ores with gold gaunts. The xp an hour was about 220k smithing and 215k magic at the same time. However, in terms of cost I believe this method turned out to be around 40m after selling the gold bars made. It's extremely fast in terms of xp though.

 

Like Nytrix said, I did gold bars with superheat magic skill and got 2 99's at the same time and its relatively inexpensive in comparison to other methods mentioned.

For crafting, I simply made green dragon leather bodies. Buy about 10k at a time, make them, and sell them back. You will make a loss however.

 

Woah woah woah, that's nowhere near the correct xp rate.

 

Then what is? Smithing is one of the few buyable skills that I have left, so I'm interested in hearing about unconventional methods.

 

It was when I last botted it. I remember it took me 6-7 days to get 99 for both smithing and magic.

 

It has never been them xp rates its like 40k smithing xp and 55k magic xp.

 

Superheating is not 220k smith xp/hr...lol... Pls research before posting

No that's the XP WITHOUT the gold gaunts,, which are obtained by completing the family crest quest.

You're right. It was 120k smithing and 115k magic xp an hour. I made a typo.

 

Going to save your smithing method in a notepad. I was planning on doing adamant bodies until 88, but I'll switch to arrowheads, thanks! (I'm also relieved because I thought smithing might cost 150M+ from where I am)
