Secondly, if you think just because somebody scammed and then confessed, then lets unban all the scammers who've done that. If he's done it once, what makes you think he won't do it again?

Again, please read people's posts more thoroughly. NONE of us stated that we are perfect, so quit making false shit up.

You don't have the "guts/balls" just because you confess on an internet message board. That takes no skill to do. Besides that, he is most likely already quitting Sythe, so he might as well just admit everything since nobody is going to see him ever again.

Oh wait, maybe the online world is so big to you, that it's basically your life.

Josh should have never gotten his positions in the first place. Just think about it, if anybody knew he scammed, he would've NEVER gotten his positions.

Why should Josh get a different treatment? If somebody scams, they get banned. Just because he confessed, it doesn't mean he shouldn't be banned.

 

I don't think that he has to get banned for the following reasons.
1) I bet every single person, there might be one or two, that came to sythe that wanted to scam people, everyone has thought of it, but some just decided not to do it.
2) He has changed, ofcourse he's a bloody mod now, FFS if you can trust him enough to make him a mod then why the **** would you change your mind now?
3) If he is leaving then why do you( as in other people ) care?

1) You may be right, but did EVERY single person on Sythe scam? No. There are actually people that can control themselves and avoid the urge. He however cannot control himself. What makes you think that in the future if he sees an unbelieveable huge trade, that he won't scam it?

2) Who cares if he's changed or not. There's been loads of scammers that have supposedly *changed*. You still think we want them around here? Fuck no.

3) This is not a valid point to why he shouldn't be banned. I'd be happy if he leaves, since he is a scammer, but honestly, I don't really give a fuck.

before he confessed every1 thought he was one of the best mods and a reliable mm, so now he confessed his PAST error and every1 call him scammer and that he deservers to be banned, i say wtf if he wanna leave, then let him go as we know him as a good guy

It's Josh that wanted their opinions in the first place.

And I honestly doubt it matters to him. He's been inactive for the past month. It's no pure confession, it's pure drama. How else do you explain the timing? He's already recommended himself for demotion on other terms, and has had plenty of opportunities to admit what he's done before now. His confession comes because he doesn't really want to be here anymore, and wants some attention in the process.

A confession is where someone puts themselves before judgment. There's no nobility in admitting something when one doesn't care about the outcome.
