Evoolution requesting pardon for tweeting jagex
Aren't people not supposed to lie in pardons? Realistically aren't they supposed to be denied for 6 months if a user is caught openly lying ?
This user's entire pardon is based on him claiming it wasn't malicious intent and that he had information from jagex that they were doing a ban wave soon, even more bs in that he knew it was particularly people using port forwarding.
Has he showed ANY evidence at all to staff ? If not I don't see why his pardon was passed into voting instead of being denied for not being honest about his offenses? If anyone who was banned for scamming refused to admit that they'd scammed someone in their pardon wouldn't it not be processed?
Now let's get into the ~250 infernal cape bans Ethan is responsible for!

250 capes were removed on the next ban wave not long after Ethan told jagex (Tyran being one of the jmods specifically haha, what a coincidence!) to look into portforwarding that were all from 2018.
Weird because there's been more than one ban wave between that wave and way back in 2018, for instance:

But what's changed since 2018? Ah right little ethan decided to be a rat for the sake of his own business and rag other cape sellers (and by extension, their buyers!)
Multiple sellers on sythe use / have used this method, and thus several capes were done through this method. Ethan however, as he admits himself in his own pardon doesn't use this method... meaning he wouldn't be at risk of ban nor would any of his buyers. But others sellers (his competition) would! And not only that but any sellers who took serious hits from this could suffer tarnished reputations and loss of business, all while ethan could flex that he didn't have any bans in this wave (250 of which he caused.) And even then many buyers would likely want to buy another cape but look for other sellers, such as himself instead of one who had gotten them banned before. He had a LOT to gain from this and nothing to lose...
Let's low ball and I mean REALLY low ball the value of the capes at ~$100 each, which I think sythe staff will agree there's no possible way that this is a realistic figure and is far too low especially considering many were not with max gear/were pures and other limited builds/were irons.
This puts damages at:
No less than and quite literally significantly more than $25,000
Damage to reputations of any seller whose customers were included in the 250 bans from older capes
Damage to reputations of buyers who otherwise would have not been effected (results in you being permanently banned/blacklisted from joining any PvM clan and most other types of clans barring PvP clans on OSRS if caught)
You can even see on this thread that many individuals who had capes for months/from 2018, surviving other ban waves, all of a sudden had been banned and lost their capes and portforwarding is even mentioned specifically:

Fact is all these bans took place when before they'd not been handed out, or even escaped multiple ban waves. The one differing factor is that this time Ethan ratted out other sellers and buyers alike for personal gain, resulting in several being banned.
I think it's reasonable to state that rats put Sythe's market at serious risk because it can discourage buyers completely and permanently damage sellers reputation. Not only this but has there ever been ANYONE whose been as big of a rat as ethan and the amount of people he snitched on / got banned? Except maybe Folt that is (perm banned btw lol). It's also pretty obvious he caused serious monetary loss. But he's not being required to repay ANYTHING? And furthermore his pardon is being processed when he's clearly lied in it.
I'd like sythe staff, if you're considering voting on Ethan's pardon, seriously consider this: He claims he had information but refuses to provide a SINGLE shred of evidence proving this. Furthermore he claims this was to find out when the ban wave would happen, and that he knew it'd be happening to people using the portforwarding method. But by Ethan's own admission he doesn't use and has NEVER used this method. So why go as far as to tweet about it and make the head of anticheating (weath) and the jagex mod most prominently involved in infernal cape bans (Tyran) aware of this method in particular? As a seller who doesn't use this method, this information would have no effect on him in the slightest but he still felt the need to mention it ? :/ Little weird if you ask me

Jagex have never done such a thing, why would Ethan have any reason to believe they'd answer his question when this would not only tip off sellers/buyers (does ANY single sythe staff member believe they would have given him this information? serious question lmfao) It's because he wasn't expecting an answer... he just wanted them to look into his competition
Lastly it's funny how Ethan claims to be such a good person that he'd be doing this community such a service... He's a member of not one, not two, but THREE clans known for doxing/DDoSing - Frontline, Harassers, and Revenant

In reality there's way too much evidence of frontline doing this shit - i'm sure anyone moderately familiar with the OSRS community knows this. Fortunately their discord is public and any staff who care can join and look through themselves - be prepared to lose a few brain cells.

On to revenant - a very recent example being them doxing a member who left for another clan - not only this but also posting pictures of his family and using them as emotes in their clan's discord as well as hacking his OSRS account. They even made other peoples' IRLs from other clans into emotes too... a truly shameless example of doxing

I guess the type of person that'd willingly join and partake in doxing with not one not two but not three clans is the type of person who should be trusted with other peoples' personal information via sales/having control of their pc though? And surely Ethan is just as good of a guy as he claims in his pardon.
Or maybe.. just maybe.. he's a huge rat that shouldn't be allowed on Sythe, is a danger to the community, and was only out to get others caught to benefit his own business..
I hope staff put serious consideration into putting his pardon on hold until he:
A. Provides even a single shred of evidence of his claims - otherwise he's lying in his pardon!
B. Explains how the tweet very clearly showing him NOT asking if they knew about but rather asking for them to look into a method was intended to be him trying to gain this knowledge for any sort of reason when this information doesn't pertain to him - because he doesn't use this method.
