Email: "No longer registered"

What does that mean when someones RS account has the email as no longer registered? Does that mean that at one point they had an email set to the account? Because if they did doesn't that mean they can recover just as easily as ever?

 

It simply means they once had an email on the account but removed it prior to selling. They can easily recover with the presence of an email.

Not sure if a previous email can be used to prove ownership.

 

To be honest, an email is really the least of your worries. Yes of course they make the recovery process easier but if someone is the original owner of an account and you purchase it from them. Even if you have your own email and recovs on it, they'll be able to recover it if they are the original owner.

However to answer your own question, it means they were subscribed to Jagex with an email registered to that account but at some point in time that email link was removed.

 

It just makes me even more nervous to see that though, thanks for the help though.

 

If you buy an account, reguardless what anyone tells you.

It will always be recoverable 100% by the seller. You take a risk.

 

That's a shame, really nervous about buying an account, but I guess I have to take a risk.

As far as my knowledge goes, if you make an account with an email address which doesn't exist at the time, that message will be there. But I wouldn't know if it means an email was already registered, soz
