E-Dating on Rs

Met my current IRL wife on RS, just sayin'.

 

Have you not seen the show Catfish..

 

Make her prove that she is who she claims to be. When you Skype her ask her to wave at you or write your name on a piece of paper or something so you know its her. I wouldn't listen to everybody who says it's a dude. There are plenty of females playing on rs. I know this from experience as I used to have many female friends which I Skyped ect. I even met up with one who lived about an hour away from me and we got it on haha

 

Unless you'd cammed with her on cam, I don't think it would be a good idea to visit her.

 

I used to have an attractive IRL girlfriend that played Runescape, so it CAN happen.

Relationships on the internet aren't any less real. You are still interacting with a real person. I went and met 3 friends I met on Runescape about 4 years ago and drove 10 hours to see them. If you haven't had many girlfriends before, you might be getting the wrong impression however

 

I've used craigslist and pof alot in the past for some easy hookups. I actually met my fiance on pof lol.

 

I really wouldn't recommend this, as if it does end up to be a guy, you've wasted a fair chunk of cash to go and see. Also, you'll have that horrible feeling of thinking that you might be gay. I'd just stick to going out and chasing skirt that way, it probably would work better aswell, and before you use the I'm only 16 excuse you know that there is ways to get out before 18/21 or w/e it is in your country.

 

to be honest, from what i've seen with friends and others i've known on rs, the relationships never seem to work out. i've never been in an 'e-relationship' , alot of people seem to do it with not many actually succeeding.

 

You can never go right E-Dating over a video game.
What happens IF you "dated" one day one of you will get tired of it.
I think it is just feelings wasted TBH.

 

i personally think its kind of weird, because like others have said you dont know if its really the "16 year old girl" youve been talking to for some time and if shes just turning 16 how old are you?

 

That'll be an interesting story to tell your kids! But, really, that's one in a million. Would never recommend e-dating. It'll end up in disappointment, more often than not.

 

I know beautiful girls that play Skyrim, but not Runescape.

 

To take a look at this from another perspective: Quite a few people act a lot differently online than in real life so you can't know that she is truly like what she appears to be like.

 

I dunno man, my gf found her ex on WoW and they were together for like a year.

 

E-dating is just stupid lol, imo, could be a guy... could be a horrible person even though it looks like a innocent girl Don't judge a person over da internet... Could even be lying hahaha

Never e-dated, NEVER will.

 

I would definitely advise against dating someone within Runescape as people are rarely who they appear to be online without a more complete interaction.
