Do you feel like your getting your childhood back?

With 07 coming back does any one else feel as though they are some what getting there childhood back, I know a lot of people say runescape ruined there childhood.

Im almost 20 now and haven't played in a while and the best times of my life was playing runescape 2005 - 2007.

 

I feel somewhat obligated to play this, because i used to go to the library to play rs because i didn't have a computer or internet, and i met my 2 current best friends there playing as well (one has passed away)

I'v made some awesome friendships with people via this game, so i think no matter what i'll always feel somewhat obligated to keep playing.

 

Words of runescape wisdom right there. =)

People say they lost mates playing runescape, but I felt like I made real, true friends playing (IRL MATES).

 

I remember spending christmas eve with my best mate playing RS, trying to get the strength level we desired to wield a weapon. I'm overwhelmed with nostalgia

 

What you enjoyed as a child and what you enjoyed now is totally different.
People will soon realise how boring 07scape will be.

Think of it this way. If you were to play the toys you had back as a child, how long would you actually enjoy them for now? You'll remember the good times with it but when you actually start playing you'll find it not fun as it were back then.

I'll give each person who plays the 07scape like a month or two before they realise how fucken boring 07scape was.

 

I remember spending entire days over the phone to my friend back when I had dial up playing RS in 04 with him. My mum used to shout at me to get off the internet because she needed to use the phone and I'd have to tell him I'd be back in a few minutes and he used to chill and wait for me. RS 04-07 was the best time in my life. I've done a lot of growing up since then, socially and otherwise, but I don't think I'll ever get over 2007 RS. I've been watching my old vids on YT from 05-06 and I miss those times. It's a shame I don't have as much time to play it, but I'm definitely trying.

 

I wouldn't say that's true. A few months back I ended up playing Crash Bandicoot 2 and Spyro on a PS Emu, it was still fun. Toys are a bad example as they're rarely mentally stimulating, however 2007scape has the whole social aspect behind it. Imagine you had those same toys and had 3 or 4 of your friends with you. It'd be a lot more manageable, wouldn't it?

 

Yes. I'm pretty much socializing with friends again that I haven't had an conversation with for years or months.

 

im old now and i feel like im getting younger!!! 2007 again woooott!

 

I still play with lego and toy cars lol...
