    Do you Believe in Evolution?

The Jewish-Christian-Islam religion says that there was no evolution and that God created man and all the species of animals. Whereas if you study the body of human beings, there are traces of body parts which were present in an earlier stage, like the tail.
Do you believe in evolution? If yes, why? If no, why?

well im catholic too.. and the bible is actually like a metaphor when it says god made adam and eve. adam means man and eve mean girl. meaning that god created man and women. so yeah... there is nothing in the bible that says that there WAS no evolution.

    Do you Believe in Evolution?

You're a typical example of a child who has been exposed for religious propaganda.

Yes, I believe in evolution. Mainly because I can comprehend it, unlike most religious people.

The difference between them is that science is a reliable source, whereas religion is based on myths.

    Evolution...
Where are the thousand of missing links that should have been found?
Don't give me the bull that there were one or two found. There should be so many more. It is hard to picture how a single self-replicating cell could have come about. Taking this one step further, how would one cell replicate itself into the different cell types required in a multi-cellular organism. These cells have to be made in the right sequence and have to go in the right spatial location (eg. form a brain in the head only) and have to be able to regulate the size (cells have to know when to stop producing more cells) and shape (cells have to know how to orient themselves spatially so that the correct shape results). Darwin thought life was based upon a plasma like substance which was readily transformed. As later discoveries were made, this was found not to be the case since life is in fact made up of very complex structures contained within cells. If Darwin would have had this knowledge available to him, then he would likely have had more doubt about his theory applying to macro-evolution (formation of new species, new complex biochemical systems, and new molecular structures). When looking for evidence of how a species might have come about through evolution, one often sees small steps (which only explain micro-evolution) and large jumps with nothing in between (which are too large to be explained by evolution since the intermediate steps are not found). These intermediate forms predicted by evolution are 'missing'.

The fossil record does not show the gradual change from one species into the next that we would expect from the theory of evolution. These intermediate varieties are no where to be found... {Darwin himself noted, "The number of intermediary varieties, which have formerly existed on the earth, (must) be truly enormous...Geology assuredly does not reveal any such finely graded organic chain; and this, perhaps is the most obvious and gravest objection which can be urged against my theory"}.

Source for some of that: http://*******.com/3ydgoh

Therefore the facts lead me to believe evolution is improbable if not impossible.

    Do you Believe in Evolution?

The bible is a book of lies. The truth is god doesn't exist. He/she is impossible.
You guys need to check out this site: http://http://talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/

    It basically proves evolution.

Heres some other links that also prove evolution and how religion is impossible:
    http://www.evilbible.com
    http://whydoesntgodhealamputees.com/

Religion is delusional, and there is no proof god exists. If any of you can prove to me otherwise, I will appoligize.

    Do you Believe in Evolution?

Evolution is really the only pheaseable idea about how we were created. All the other crap about "god" is just what a bunch of bored monks came up with way back in the day to entertain themselves with and make cash.

The god damn roman catholcs are to blame for Athiest and Religous idoits

They edited the bible so many times to make it more "Convienient" for themselfs"

Im christian (not catholic though) and the bible was ment to remind you to be nice or god will smite you its pretty much a fairy tale

I don't go to church because they force the bible down your throat. Buddhism is a much better religoun then christianity they will allow people to have their own beliefs to a certain extent

Our chromosomes are 96% the same as monkeys

Koala's and kanguru's came from the same species

Two examples is the neccissary amount to make a point

Athiest's are generaly more inteligent (and more emo) then christians but they overdue the bible and then not believing in god.

Most of republicans believe in creationism.

We humans are not perfect, neither is our science. Science is generally a very reliable source of information, but there are flaws in it. This isn't as much of a flaw though, seeing as its just scientific data waiting to be discovered and documented.

Fact is, there are more evidence suggesting we originated from primates than some divine forces in the sky whom suddenly got bored one day and decided to create us.

Not on most cases. If I'm trying to disprove God, it is usually based on the claims made by my opponent. Most of the time it comes down to the fact that it is so illogical that there is no need to assume that it could be real.

What kind of evidence are you asking for? At the moment, I'm standing behind you, with a butchers knife, ready to slice you into ten equally sized pieces. Not only that, but I also possess godly powers. You cannot see me, hear me, smell me or feel me. How are you going to disprove that?

More like the catholic church realized that the bible was wrong, and needed an excuse so they said it was a metaphor.
