Do people still get IP banned for botting?

I was thinking of botting a skiller while I play on my main, but if the skiller gets banned will I get IP banned?

 

No but I believe they'll be monitoring you.

 

I'm pretty sure I.P bans never existed, they banned your accounts one at a time? I never got mass banned anyways.

 

They maybe monitor you just make sure u dnt bot on ur main lol

my friend was bottin on both accounts at once his pure and a wc account, they both got banned at the same time.
So i would not bot at the same time.

 

They don't do ip bans, nor do they track ip or anything like that.

 

no, i have created bunch of suicide accs just for fun, a lot of them got banned but my main is fine, don't worry, there's no problem at all

As for getting banned, it just depends. You can still get banned on your main even if you bot/rwt on other accounts.

 

I've heard on a non-existing forums now,that people could be IP banned and they did, so whenever they started from scratch after some days of banning it got he/she banned.

 

No. I'm skeptical whether this actually happened in the first place also.

As long as you are not botting f2p or gold farming they don't really care (eoc)

They do, I've had a VPS that I used for advertising, and if I created an account in EoC and moved 1 step, I would get the claw and a 'you are banned' message. Offence was 'macro goldfarmer major'

IP monitoring is illegal. its use of personal information

 

They do track ip, invade you get hacked they need to know that it's not your ip that is logging into the account.

 

They do still IP ban, it isn't an account creation block, it just gives auto bans you shortly after you log in.

 

Jagex doesn't do Ip bans.

 

They just ban all accounts from your IP.
