Disputing an account ban

I have previously attempted to get the account unbanned ~3 years ago, I stopped trying as my stress levels reached 9.9/10 and it was literally too bad for my health to continue. I haven’t had much involvement in the website over the last few years but I’ve recently hired a new manager who is very passionate about running it, so to do him a favour I am attempting to get unbanned on here to remove the BBB block (I do however understand that we’re not allowed to share accounts).


Reasons for ban:

1. Being involved with a distributed denial of service attack situation
2. Joopii2 claimed I scammed him
3. Compensation for a rank payment

To my understanding the appeal ultimately boiled down to owing Xier0 restitution as payment for involvement in a DDoS attack on the dragon dyce poker server.3

I am happy to provide this restitution to Xier0 as I feel he deserves it. $2500 was requested as his claim to damages, however I feel this is an unreasonably high request. I find it hard to believe that his poker server, with the amount of logins it had at the time4, cost him so much in damages. If he can provide reasons otherwise I would be willing to listen to them and reimburse him for the cost. That aside, I’m willing to be reasonable and offer $500 in return for him repealing the final bannable offence.


Regarding the other reasons for being banned;

• Number 2 has been cleared up already as I have proven this reason was due to myself being victim of a hit-job from Joopii5, and no payment was felt needed as restitution by admins/moderators in the original dispute post3.
  
  
• Number 3 was resolved privately with Unb4nn3d who I assume will kindly vouch.

The poker server that was DDoSed was owned and operated by Jon and myself, so you and KO can kindly fuck off.

 

Going to be handing this dispute over to @video since he's more education on this whole fiasco than i'll ever be.

It was fairly difficult to speak with Hattez, he was calling me an asshole for no reason, I don’t even know the guy, and I am honestly going to have a hard time attempting to use Sythe again when I have to speak to such people. It seems to me from the conversation that they want to keep me banned, they even said that it would benefit them. I also get the impression that they’re not being objective about this and just abusing their position of power in attempt to request an unsupported amount of money.



If my memory serves me right, when I posted the proof of KO ddosing me, another mod said that the ddos attack was balanced out because it was done in retaliation, so I didn’t owe them anything, however Xier0 argued that KO didn’t own DragonDyce at the time. So the fact that KO ddosed us was be irrelevant, as it would be Xier0 who suffered the damages. Now I’m getting new information saying that it actually was not Xier0 who suffered the damages, it was Hattez. I honestly don’t know what I’m dealing with anymore.



I’ve offered $500 in reimbursement. Speaking as an experienced business owner, when your website gets ddosed, you simply turn it back online or change your IP + buy ddos protection which is $200/month, which is why I think $500 is more than sufficient. However they don’t seem to feel that it is, and I’ve asked Hattez to show proof of how it cost them $1500 in damages (reduced from Xier0’s $2500 apparently), but neither Hattez nor Xier0 could supply any.



The overall vibe I get is that they dislike me personally and just want to keep me banned. I’m hoping mods can read between the lines here and assist with solidifying a deal in order to unban me. Please bare in mind that the business partner who carried out the ddos attack hasn’t been involved with the business in over 3 years.

Having talked with @Sythe, @BigBoiBets has been given a DNT and will be pardoned after having repaid @Xier0 the $500 offered. Unless there is proof of income lost or other damages from the ddos attack, this will consider the matter resolved
