If that happens, your dead.

On topic however, I'd suggest you stay out of his residence, find someone related to him, a son / daughter / partner, and alert them about the situation.
If you don't know any of his family members, man up, and rescue him from his house which has obviously locked him in the basement.

 

Alright guys, I done the logical thing today and got in his house via the greenhouse. He is not dead I've done thurrer in out search of the house(Had to sink a few beers). I suspected he wasn't there. Sucks because my family were really the only family to him, everything he asked for came from us, no sign whatsoever of his relatives.

About the house, I'm pretty sure it's pay'd off. The police in my town aren't like the NYPD these guys are the lazest tossers on the planet.

 

Dude, just take stuff. He's been gone a year, he's over 60, he won't even notice or remember what was even there. You're safe. (Y)
