Were you let down by the ending? I was. Eragon & Arya should've ruled Ellesmera together :| was waiting for that through the whole series...

 

Extremely, i actually developed slight depression when the series ended.

However, Paolini has stated he is writing a 5th book, but has been vague on whether it will still follow Eragon after he 'you know' (won't spoil it for others) and not be a prequel of sorts, or even follow different characters.

 

I was! Paolini built up the romance between Eragon and Arya throughout the entire series but it never really went anywhere! I expected them to stay together once she told him she had become a rider. Looking at it critically, it was the perfect ending though. And I really liked what Eragon did for the Urgals and Dwarfs too!

Can't wait for the next book, whatever it may hold.

Serenity, I understand that slight depression! The ending of the series left me longing for more!
