[DENIED] Disallow advertising of Sythe non-conform discords on Sythe conform discords.

This thread is in a sense a concretization of Offsite blackhat ⇒ TWC

This initiative is to prevent users from getting in contact with blackhat activities and to further steer these activities away from Sythe and anything related to our black market. If Sythe wants to oppose blackhat activities it should moderate the access of anything related to them. As we know, Sythe and Discord are very intertwined at the moment. We have also seen that it is very hard to ban blackhat activities because of this very interjunction (click here to read the thread about this very subject).
Therefore, we should disallow advertising of Sythe non-conform discords on Sythe conform discords.
Implementing this will mean that Sythe will not even indirectly be a platform that blackhatters can make use of to promote their malicious activities. Secondly, (new) users will find it much harder to come in contact with blackhat discords (through Sythe). Thirdly, the current construction allows discords to be a proxy for blackhat discords which renders our current policy almost symbolic and thus ineffective. Fourthly, perhaps, this is the necessary first link finding more effective means that are, just, proportional and subsidiary in dealing with blackhatters. Fifthly, discords do have a responsibility to monitor what is being advertised on their discord, so the initiative would totally correspond with this burden.

So your goal is to moderate discord servers advertised on sythe? (For servers that advertise blackhat)

Im sure if you join someone's server have proof of them blackhatting/advertising and report them for advertising Blackhat Activities they would be asked to remove that advertisement to continue advertising that discord on sythe.

Other than that it's not up to the mods of sythe to manually inspect discords being advertised.

You speak as though sythe can control much more that it actually can, by this rule does this mean in my server I can't advertise a server that advertises a server that advertises a server meant for blackhat? Even tho the original server's initial use isn't for BH.

You are honestly grasping for straws here, from what I've seen on sythe they limit the amount of blackhat allowed to almost 0, they disallow selling of twitch primes, disallow selling of trade banned steam accounts etc. They limit it to the best of their ability it just seems like you have a bone to pick with a specific individual or had a case handled to a outcome you didn't agree with and now post suggestions to rally troops.

 

Could make everyone who wants to join sythe put down a small nonrefundable deposit and as activity and vouchers grow allow sales of higher than deposit. Scaling sales. Kinda off topic. But making sythe exclusive is kinda the only way to separate it. imo

 

Are there actually any discords that promote blackhat activities being advertised on Sythe?
