[DENIED] Mini ranks earned via posting in different sections

Has this been suggested? Earn different mini-ranks for participating in certain sections.

For example 100/250/500 posts will reward 3 different ranks, previous tier dissolved into the next rank.

Maybe not every forum, the 30 most popular sections.

This is still a thing as far as I know, you just have to maintain activity in those sections. Plus, the miniranks provided are only limited to a certain amount of sections.

Support, Anime section is dying and there seems to be a lack of anime miniranks.

I'm sure other sections need a boost like programming. Obviously some people will just be there for miniranks but as more people start interacting in it, I'm sure others will naturally do too and the sections will get revived a bit.

I am not going to support or no support but share some knowledge,
before we had the xenforo version of sythe (The current version?) the mini ranks @Wortel posted were given to you on a weekly or monthly base's if you had so many posts in a section you would receive the mini rank till the duration of mini ranks were disrupted, if you didn't meet the post count you lost the mini rank. I believe this better suggestion to bring back rather then op suggestions as it encourages long term activity

Panda is for the support center.

I'm a no support, and here's why:
1) There are enough miniranks as is
2) It encourages spam posting and not quality content
3) Benefits are concentrated towards users who already frequent those sections, so adding miniranks probably won't attract much *new* activity
4) Matthew presumably has to go through and add all these new miniranks for... dozens of sections, and I'd rather him work on other, more productive things

I have a feeling this could be proposed in future as post count/ activity rewards are highly lacking.

On another forum I use posting on the same thread more than once does not count towards post count. I don't know how hard that would be to implement. But I think it deters spamming. 90% of my posts are just "bump"
