[Denied] Maximum amounts of stats blurred with account sales

Since it seems that RWT bans are more frequent, I do support increasing the amount of blurred stats you are allowed. However, if a buyer wants/requests the full stats, then there should be no trouble in showing them the full stats picture. That can be through PM or discord or wherever, as long as they are able to see the full stats picture so they know what they are purchasing.

Off-topic here, but if we want to secure the safety of our accounts, then new buyers should have to show cash upfront before they ask for full stats picture. Too many times a buyer asks for something, only for the sale to go nowhere.

This whole rule of not being allowed to blur stats is stupid as a whole, if something is blurred out just assume it's not there and it doesn't add any value to the account. It takes 2 brain cells to fake these sceenshots anyway so i don't see a good reason for such rule

 

support. 10+ seems okay but I see no problem with blurring unlimited stats esp for vouched account sellers.

maybe this rule was made to prevent evaders from selling accounts that had been recovered repeatedly? if so then only allowing vouched users to take advantage of a rule change should solve that.

and just like tigeris said, you should be able to essentially blur out any stat that isn't relevant to the sale of your account. PK'ing accounts such as pures may only have 4-6 stats that are actually relevant to the value of the account in the first place, same way for any starter ironmen or anything like that. if a customer really needs to know about a specific stat that is blurred then they can simply ask privately.

 

The more I think about this, the more inclined I am to switch to no support. If anything, increasing from 5 -> 8, but no more. I feel like the vast majority of account sales are safe and that changing this ruling could do more harm than good by enabling potential scammers.

 

I support this completely. As someone who sells valuable accounts, I've actually struggled to post certain ones because I know how easy it can be to figure out what the account rsn is if you put the time in.
I don't want to tinfoil hat here, but Jagex could probably look them up even easier, if they did watch those forums at all.

 

Considering there are far more RWT bans as of lately, i'd say it would be safer for buyer and seller. If the account would make it trough the "rough" period of being for sale, it still would be considerably hotter than if the seller would be able to blur up to 10(+) stats (rather than 5). With that being said, the customer (buyer) would take a bigger risk as well. Buying accounts is and always has been always risky, but looking from a sellers' standpoint i'd assume i would like to make sure that my customer their accounts are as protected as possible. This would be better for my business and it would prevent a lot of hassle.

It's also good that there's some account sales required before Sythe users are allowed to blur out up to 10(+) stats. New people or potentially ban evaders would have a way higher succesrate in misleading their customers (assuming mostly ban evaders and new users would try to abuse this change), which maybe could lead to more scams in the account selling market. So being able to blur up to 5 stats and total level is enough for people who hardly sell accounts, but for serious account sellers it would be very useful of having the ability to blur up to 10(+) stats.

I think the rule should be changed because if the buyer decides he needs more info regarding the account he can simply provide proof of funds and request more info in private

 

I think it should be much higher than 10 account sells since people can sell useless ass accounts / buy resale accounts until this point. I'm thinking 50+ account sales before bluring more than 5 stats.

This. Who's to stop me from claiming 10 low lvl acc sales as acc sales? Unless im mistaken, this might open the doors for ban evaders to resell recovered accs
