[DENIED] Discord ban for obvious proxy campers

the kind of trolls that pop up in sythe discord are not even remotely funny or entertaining..

 

Care to elaborate why you’re not supporting this when you’re not even active on the Discord server?

Those have posted from a home IP so they don’t qualify.

Can't you just discord ban them for x amount of time?.. The discord ban placed on me was well deserved, and honestly mods should hestiate less to issue discord bans. Idk, just an idea.

 

Nope that’d require a discord bot which they’ll never add. If they want that they’ll create a bot themselves that can tempban but the ETA of that will be 2030.

 

What I meant is, manually ban people that are toxic/joins without a home ip.

Either way I'll support, I see no harm in this being implemented, but I still doubt it'll go through.

 

Seems like the best way to deal with them just ban them whenever you want if they don't have a home ip. If you're banned on site you don't deserve to be in the discord.

Correct but simple Xenforo addons can be added too in order to fulfill some suggestions aswell but they will only be added if they are made by ourselves, or atleast that’s what I figured out based on experience.

The Banned users thread suggestion was shut down because “Xenforo something something” but in reality it was a simple solution.

 

This suggestion has been accepted. I will move it to review for @Sythe to make a final decision.
