[DENIED] Chargebacked users should not be eligible for community repayment

Users who accept payment methods that are able to get charged backed hike up their rates to accommodate for the increased risk.
Therefore you should not be able to claim reimbursement from community repayment if you get charge backed.
It's already priced into your rate.

 

Would this also apply to the account reseller market, since it's a calculated recovery risk?
To the services market, since worker deposits and margins should account for this?

 

Those scenarios will need further discussion as its not so clear cut as people upping rates for accepting paypal or cashapp etc.

When you provide the option to use these methods you've already calculated the risk factor into your pricing from my perspective. It's the same as getting banned. You get hit every now and then with a shitty chargeback but you're supposed to alter your rates to accomodate and/or set limits on how much people can place on you via these methods. I also support this being applied to account recoveries if there was a clear ToS/guideline regarding how this would play out for all to view prior to making a deal.

 

Would support it for GP sale.
