I think people who have the ability to delete their own thread. The reason why is because, if people mess up on their thread title they can delete thread and remake another one. Or if they are in the Black Market, and they are selling a "Rare" name, they can put *Sold* as their thread title. Restrictions can be, like 5 thread deletions in a 24 hour time period.

It doesn't have to take place in a thread. It may occur in an MSN conversation. If you post enough sufficient proof then of course the mods would accept.

I agree, Say if you made a mistake, people might report you for spam or something, So it would reduce the warnings you get.

    Deleting your own thread.

User A makes an Account selling thread.

User B posts his proof of User A being a scammer on said thread, along with knowing it.

User A gets upset and deletes his thread.

User A then makes a new thread, different section.

Continues on and on until User A gets banned, who knows when?

If a member doesn't have a link to put in the Report a Scammer, because the thread was deleted, a mod has to hunt it down.

Very annoying, so I don't support, although I do see what you're getting at.

Well, mods can see deleted threads in sections they moderate... So only globals and market mods would be able to do scammer reports as I would think all scammers would delete their threads... Soooo, No.

    Deleting your own thread.

Scammers will just delete there thread, and like SuF said, only they'd be able to do the reports.
If you want a thread deleted, ask a moderator for that section.

How about you change it so you can close your own thread, but not delete it?

That's the same thing as locking it. I already suggested that. Many supported the idea, but it got denied immediately.(No doubt)
