    Explanation of the trade: I signed up for TOA raid and blood torva kit specifically. There has been no TOA raid or blood torva kit request sent to me at all for months (1 came in but the guy stopped replying and Dbuffed acknowledged that the guy stopped responding all together as well). Yes, I was inactive 2weeks in February but then I came back and there was still no TOA raid or blood torva kit work so I had no need to respond to anything. I was active. Recently I have been part of tickets where I am active and the customer has not been 100% so we can finalize. All in all, yes, I could have been better at communicating, but there has been no work I can do so I have not been able to respond correctly/timely.
    How they scammed: Not returning 1b osrs gp deposit.

    I am posting these to show that I DO respond and try my best, but sometimes my communication could be better. However, it is not my fault that blood torva/TOA work has ever been missed. I respond to every ticket that comes my way, and try my best to get the work started. I would appreciate if Dbuffed could acknowledge that it is not my fault that blood torva/toa has not come in, and return my 1b deposit. I am even willing to restart work, give new gp deposit based on other work (since blood torva/toa is not coming in at all).

    Hello, what he has said is not quite correct and as shown there are only two of the multiple tickets he received or was a part of and did not respond to.

    I will respond showing his inactivity of which I tried to give him benefit of the doubt the first time around, and of course has continued to show no activity or engagement of which I have only recently returned properly to my PC besides being afk due to my children being sick, and in fact myself being sick (which has been mentioned in my discord server)

    im replying on behalf of dbuffed due to what he has mentioned above; in case there is stuff i cant reply to for whatever reason dbuffed will reply here when he can.

    On to the main point.

    osbotbro, otherwise known as swaq in our server, so il call him swaq here for simplisity.

    There has not once been any mention of him not receiving his deposit back if deemed he was correct and we was wrong in the tos breaking. I think it goes without saying since he mentioned his inactivity here despite saying he is active and has been active on discord via our group chat where we was trying to work a reasonable solution with him and I am more than happy to have staff review this group chat to also confirm we have not done anything of the sort, we have simply just mentioned the obvious things we found on our side and questioned what happened of which has led us to this as he doesn't wish to work with us to find a reasonable path to take.

    So the order with disconnect he shows is in fact correct, he did go very quiet after a while (disconnect is also one of our ticket staff who soon stopped being active after becoming a ticket staff*) however the order was conducted and completed, so completely irrelevant on that to be shown as proof of activity

    As swaq knows full well, tickets were added to an "open order" channel for workers to quote the ticket number to request the job. it has always been this way and will no doubt continue to work like this.

    There has been multiple tickets to which we have gone "oh swaq would be good for this" to which he has then not replied, thus making us lose out on the job and what not. due to this swaq was then not directly offered jobs and all jobs were posted directly to the open orders channel.

    Yes Swaq was looking to mainly do Blorva/DT2 bosses, however due to the low requests for this, Swaq agreed that he would take other PVM related stuff if he could do so, however this never happened either and has lost us jobs and income

    Swaq has been inactive for quite a while.

    He also mentioned in his application Bossing PVM, not just specifically Blorva or DT2, but in fact TOA/Bossing and Blorva.

    with regards to the time gap between then and ow, that was mainly due to dbuffed having his children off for holiday from school and being ill aswell.

    So I see that my deposit is not being returned because of the TOS "- You understand that if you go away for a long period of time without telling us you will be removed.". This is an odd statement and is very arbitrary (lacks any real bounds or time range) and is very subjective - does this mean 2 days is too long? 2 years? etc.

    As you can see in this screenshot, Dbuffed approached me with this work (which contains Blood torva, yes, but is NOT BLOOD TORVA specifically. Even apart from this, I let him know SAME DAY that I am out till 27th.) This shows that I communicate almost immediately - anytime Dbuff notifies me of something. Or I try to atleast. It is not my fault that Blood Torva/TOA specifically have never come up as work.

    I would also like to add that this is not a case of worker scam or failure to fulfill work. I am always responding to my tickets, except I guess you can take 1 incident and say I communicated poorly. Dbuffed and his team are holding a worker at fault for failure to do work when there wasn't any work to begin with. And I was more than willing to do EXTRA work to help out Dbuffed (as I saw him as a friend). I do not need the 1b deposit. I have spent $10k usd+ on sythe on purchasing accounts alone. I play for fun and wanted to make some money while doing it. The problem is there has been no work for me to take. I am okay with whatever verdict the Sythe staff take - no issues. Thank you for assisting in this. If I am wrong in this, I apologize to Dbuffed and team also.

    So they weren't being considered for removal until they requested their deposit? Was there any discussion of termination beforehand?

    Do you have any additional proof of @Osbotbro being inactive/unresponsive?

    Hey Swaq thanks for responding to some key notes. I would like to point out the fact despite both my children being sick recently (they had 2 weeks off school*) and then me catching whatever they had which can be found in our server being spoken about just last week was giving me downtime to obviously handle updates to the server and it's progression moving forward

    With that being said, I have always been nothing but transparent and up front about things, asked if specific things can be looked into and such as well, of which has not always been "responded to almost instantly"

    I said the same to you on discord in our group chat where we tried to come to a reasonable solution, and in fact on pm as well when discussing everything with you whilst I had a moment to talk (as you can probably find also I was replying on mobile most of the time due to computer updates) of which you was fine with me looking more into based on the possibility of termination and I informed you i'd let you know in a few days or something and I would make a group chat, both times both in pm and the group chat you showed no interest in actually working with us to handle the issue at hand which wasn't really helpful and we have not once said we are not willing to work out an agreement, although you have despite apologized just above now also slandered our business (calling us scammers essentially) when we have simply just provided what we found on a short notice whilst I/we was able to

    There was an obvious loss of revenue both where you was offline at all times sometime before the 16th of Feb all the way to now, of which going back to the Feb incident, you did tell us you would be back on the 27th (didn't even tell us you was away to begin with* and as such we did add you to I think 2-3 tickets if I recall? and got closed, one of which was in your pm as shown) and in fact didn't return until March 22nd. I want to make it clear, I do not enjoy "removing people" it makes me feel dirty, and as such I like to discuss these things with people when we get a chance to catch up as such like now we was able to hopefully reason with you but you didn't want to play ball

    You are right though, there was no scam attempt that we know of, this also isn't regarding that however it was partly due to failure on the work comment this is based on activity. If you are offline at all times of the day/night, as I mentioned to you both in pm and our group chat we cannot assign you work > if we cannot assign you work that's a loss of revenue, not just for the server but for you as well and customers then feel the need to go elsewhere as such losing us clients that otherwise would have enjoyed to work with you moving forward

    Regarding the "being away for a certain time" comment, you don't just go get a job in a fancy spot at town and then simply don't turn up for any of your shifts. From what I can remember and I may be wrong everything went fine and was going fine for the most part until around Feb 16th but I could be wrong on this, something may have come up before or you may have been away before that I just cant remember. I will say again though like I have a hundred times already -

    You offered and was even asked 2-3 times if you "could/would cover other pvm stuff" to which you said yes that's fine, and since then we have had to instead ask other workers such as @Zyzz to see if they would step in due to your noshowing and simply not actually giving us a reason to add you to more tickets due to you not being actively online, even a simple hello in the group section we have for all workers would have been more than valid but also again did not happen


    To close this off though as this reply is a bit too long for my liking, I don't believe you're a bad person at all, and maybe things were just over looked where we all get crazy in life and lose track of time. But to turn around and say we are trying to steal from you, and just quite simply not willing to work with us when we have highlighted multiple occasions not just the "1" you mentioned and in fact showed you where you apologized for one of the situation is not cool

    Have a good day/evening none the less. And @Andy I have the group chat still and I will happily add you to it so you can see for yourself we are not and have not done anything besides try deal with the situation if we can and have some middleground we can work from

    To answer your questions -

    We discussed it briefly here and there as we had to find other people to cover things in said situations where he wasn't around

    For number two on the other hand, yes we have proof of him being inactive. There have been no messages from him at all in our group chat with other workers, he has never once shown online either (making it hard to know when he is/isn't online) and as such we had to try move forward with the above until we heard back off him

    If I recall, this was one of the tickets for CA's he was going to do (i could be wrong on the order type) of which was the one we waited for him to reply to for around a month and a half, as you can see "was wondering what happened to you", because we told the customer when he told us on the 16th that he would be back on the 27th of Feb and of course wasn't and if he was, he didn't aware us he was back around

    After some said tickets including this one we tried to of course communicate with him as best as possible where we could see him being able to do more things if he was interested, which although limited because he declined any other work besides specific requests (blorva+dt2) when he said he could cover others then making it hard

    We did of course have to make sure we had people who could or at least could try attempt to fill in the spot for him before fully handling the demotion, because tickets got benched for quite some time and we was hoping if he wasn't willing to at least try fix the issue then we could have them step in instead

    - Not monitoring worker chat is one of the issues, we have other workers who do occasionally hide offline too, but they always remain chatty and such in said spot of the discord to show they are engaging with us, as such we can still give them work because we know they are fine to do so - this however was not the case as shown in the most recent ticket as seen here - Screenshot - 291ecb98a8715bc174304e806bc93489 - Gyazo - so this took 9 days for the original response from when he asked what the price is (despite the fact we allow them to price the CA orders themselves)

    Although not a major downtime - Screenshot - d6f995eb78b4faabc4bca8fb5d5c5c81 - Gyazo 2 days between the responses there, while customer was sitting idle for a reply from him (he replied with a better lot of information just 20 minutes later for Swaq to comment on*) which is where I then tagged on 4/4 for him to finally respond on 5/4

    And as you can see on 22/3 he did also apologize for yet again not responding to other ticket(s) he had received which got closed. I will again make it clear though, he isn;t the only reason for tickets being closed some customers did also just generally close theirs which is out of everyone's hands but was based on us seeing if he would come online or not as we have seen repeat problems of the no-response stuff we have mentioned

    So to tl;dr we couldn't give him work due to him not appearing/actively being online, when asked in our group chat where he was in fact active like he claims he basically instead of showing us so we can correct a wrong made this report. He has not really once ever spoke in work chat, Screenshot - fdcc8a148ef7723416f3353b9620b7b8 - Gyazo this was the only response/chat we have leading up to the 16th of Feb issue which would have most likely been around the same time he was MIA and we just didn't really know too much despite talking about it between us around the same time/preparing for the possibility of having to have others step in

    From the chat above on 2/9 he has since spoke twice in work chat, which was at the beginning of this month, and again no response or activity after that and the activity before that was the bit where I mentioned we was wondering what had happened to him

    Hey there, beyond our discussion with him and privately we did not due to trying to fix the problems with orders not being accepted

    There was the comment I made about him being away and in future to tell us (as has been shown above I think?) But of course this yet again did not happen, including the recent 9 days of no responding and such

    We have of course said beyond the cooldown on deposits we have (the 30 day) which was of course agreed upon on his end too, we was happy to meet whatever we can come to on both parties sides because of the obvious time we didn't have to speak with him due to being quite busy ourselves and his own shown randomly being away without telling us

    As of right now as mentioned before we have a group chat of which we have tried to engage a positive solution, once we come to the agreement of what we can all decide on (if on here or not) we just have the 30 day CD to wait on which he would of course be paid afterwards

    There is of course and I think it goes without saying the clear indicator in several spots of our terms we have when we have people apply to work for us, which mentions they do forfeit their deposit in such cases, but as I say we was still happy to work something out due to a clear communication barrier on both sides

    We are of course as I keep mentioning open to adjust things to the right way needed as it should and could have really been handled in our group chat and it would have been resolved

    If it is noted that we have to release the deposit (which despite what is being said, I haven't said anywhere that I'm not willing to do so) we will keep track of the CD period and reach out in the appropriate time via the group chat to sort the meeting place and such, if possible with a staff member present so it cannot be claimed otherwise (pirate handled this with us previously)

    Apologies for the delay here. I wanted to go over everything fully a second time to make sure there was nothing missed.

    I reached out to @Osbotbro and they stated that they would prefer for this to be resolved on Sythe as opposed to via a group chat.

    After discussion with other staff members, while the ToS provision that @Dbuffed cites for withholding the deposit is valid, @Osbotbro should have been warned/removed when these issues occurred. Instead, @Dbuffed was seemingly fine keeping the user as a worker until they requested the return of their deposit, which staff unanimously agreed does not give @Dbuffed the right to withhold said deposit due to the lack of any action when the mentioned incidents occurred.

    @Dbuffed please return @Osbotbro's deposit, you may wait the 30 allotted days afforded by your ToS, beginning from this post. I'll add a note to this post once the deposit has been returned.
