One of the most active mods, handles his reports well and is very persistent!

Why hasn't I Mark I been banned for this? http://www.sythe.org/report-scammer/1713532-recovery-scam-i-mark-i.html I was banned immediately during the Planet ordeal, even while I was cooperating with staff and trying to recover the account. And ultimately, I had to refund him, a proven vader, even though I recovered the account. So, given that this is essentially the same situation except with the buyer having a stronger case, why isn't Mark banned and required to refund the buyer to remove his ban?

Why are you banning people for reposting a picture that was originally posted in faces of sythe thread in the spam forum? There was no defacement whatsoever at play.

 

You need permission, it's under the personal info rule.

 

No you don't. I'm pretty sure it was made clear a while ago that you only need permission if you are going to deface or alter the picture posted on that thread in any way.

It's fair game to repost pictures in that thread (in the spam forum), just as long as you dont deface it.

 

People are assured that when posting their picture in OT:

It doesn't say, hey anyone can take your picture and post in the spam forum about it and call you names. Namsayn.

I wrote that rule. It was not intended to stop people from posting pictures people already posted on Sythe. Defacing them is another story. Making fun of them really falls under flaming. I worded the rule "explicit consent" mostly so that people would not be like "he implied I could" but I did not and I don't think the staff at the time meant for you to have to get a signed like "I hereby allow xxx to post my picture that I posted in xxx to xxx".
