Crazy Ping Stories?

I recently Played a Nasus, and ended up with 244 cs and about 600 extra dmg/stacks for my Q. The first 20-30 minutes or so I was playing with over 700 ping, and was doing semi ok, missing a fair bit of cs, but was able to farm my Q despite it. I realized my laptop was very hot, so i left, put a fan under it and about 3 minutes after returning, I had about 200-300 Ping(My standard).
Game ended at 44:08 with me being 9/9/6 with 244 cs and about 600 stacks on Q.

I was wondering what was everyone else's stories with unbelieveably high ping.

 

One time... I was 12k ping. I dc'd . Internet died. Needless to say I did not win that game.

 

Well generally i sit on ~40 ping, but atleast once a game, (its generally when im about to be ganked) i get a spike of up to 1,300 and most likely dc...

Not sure if pathetic EUW servers or my connection. xD

 

You sit normally at 40 ping!!! DAM, How fast is your internet connection?( Im pretty sure thats what determines ping)

 

I sit on 50 ping, anything over 80 is unplayable for me lol.

I'm at 69 ping at the lowest but It can go upwards of 150~. Your ping depends on how far away you are from the server. If you're on East coast NA, Around 70 ping is the lowest you'll get. West coast can get below 10; doesn't really depend too much on connection.

 

40-50 ping, is on a good day, when im the only one on the net, my internet is really slow tbh

Yeah, internet connection does determine ping.

 

They really do need an east coast NA server then -_-.

 

I don't think it's really that necessary, as NA isn't that big but I do think that there is going to be one. In the store, to transfer to NA, It's listed as "NA1" So I definitely believe they are working on a second server. So It's either going to be an east coast server or Canadian.
