It's a very high amount of gold, but if Soul / Moes / Dave didn't know that the gold was obtained through Black Hat explicitly, I don't see how this is a case. You'd need to prove that they knowingly accepted stolen gold. Saying that they should have known because the guy provided stacks is not sufficient. Thus far, all I say is a person bragging they sold a bunch of Ikov to Soul / Moes shops. There is no evidence which shows that they knew it was being obtained through cracking.

But they aren't complete retards. Theres NO physical way this gold was acquired legitimately in these sort of amounts. Just because they wasn't told it wasn't stolen gold doesn't mean they couldn't have worked it out.

edit: These 3 blatantly looked the other way. Moes and soul could claim stupidity but Dave knows better. He investigates way to much and puts in to much time as a mod. Dave knowingly avoided looking into where the gold came from. 1 simple google search would of lead to more and more. This guys website and reputation arnt hidden....

I think the thing to do is just let it play itself out. Undoubtedly FireZ is getting much more info than we have, and speculating about what other people knew is pretty useless. All we know is that this guy Xerxes sold a database and sold a lot of ikov, probably to these three (he could just be bragging?). There's still no proof that they even knew it was the same guy; what's to say that he didn't sell it to them from another skype or something?

Editing pics is obvious guilt. Clearly Dave shit his pants contacted him to change it. Know it's obvious as fuck that's it's true. If he had left it unedited there wouldnt need to be way more proof to show no connection. He also typed it as Dave from sythe as in he doesn't use or have an account. So how would he have seen this report and known to edit it.

All major gold sellers buy hacked gold. All they have to do is ask you if it is hacked first and if you say no then they don't have to worry about it.

 

There's a reason you'll never be a mod. You need to calm down and look at the facts. This guy is bragging on a small forum about "partnering" with Dave / Soul / Moes. What does that mean partnering? It's very vague. Is he just selling them gold? Is he delivering their orders? Is he providing them accounts to loot? We really don't know with that information, we need to continue searching for more details.

What is this person's Skype name? Is it so obviously associated with blackhat activity that the buyers should have known it was dirty gold? Should a gold buyer do a background check on everyone who sells bulk gold? There are big sellers who are not blackhat. To say that anyone who sells over X amount of gold is a blackhat hacker is simply false. You can't prosecute these guys purely on the notion that they bought a large amount of gold from one person. That's not how this site operates.

Editing the pics is sketchy, but once again, does not necessarily mean that his buyers knew how he earned his gold. If this guy did business with Dave et al, and it went well, he would not want his post to be used against them. He could have reasonably edited that post on his own without pressure, once he realized it was being used against people who treated him kindly and fairly. Essentially, why would he want to hurt the people who bought his gold?

If you can't prove these guys explicitly knew that the gold they were buying was stolen, you can't throw the book at them. You can certainly request they take future actions to avoid this situation repeating.

you have no clue what you're saying. I never said they were guilty. I said if they were it would be swept away. I also clearly said that post wouldn't be enough. that in fact they would need A LOT more proof to prove anything went on.

I don't work off hearsay I only go off straight facts with anything I do. Also I'm not a mod so I am going to put little effort digging into anything as it has nothing to do with me. I simply posted to see what other people had on the subject hoping it was some kid trolling.

Yes on a serious note. It could simply be a matter of that admin posted that without them knowing, maybe dave and the rest just buy in bulk for a resale price thinking they are getting a good deal. for all we know they are just getting a deal while some guy is stealing the gold. It wouldn't mean they were guilty of anything. Not personally know dave but I have spent my fair share reading how he replies to black hat and shadey crap in general. Based on that I think he wouldn't have anything to do with something black hat related in anyway, at least with the knowledge of something stolen. I don't see him being that kind of person.

Like Will said, if it can't be proven that they knew, there isn't a case. I don't even see blatant foul play from any of them, either.
