    Smart contracts are dumb contracts lol. Would you trust a million dollars to a finite state machine?

    Ethereum is just a fork of bitcoin. Its tech is almost identical. Bitcoin also had multisig transactions that no one used. You're looking at it the wrong way, BTCs fundamentals have collapsed as it hit scaling issues and issues with rebellious miners. Ethereum will hit the exact same issues.

    If you trust elliptic curve cryptography you can trust crypto currency. But trusting that a contract writer has sufficiently foreseen every possibility is another thing. Last time a major contract went wrong the entire currency had to fork.

    I don't think so. even if - if i remember correctly i made this thread when ETH was around $40-45, currently it is testing $51. So whoever listened could have made his first profits now
