Competition's sub forum

Yeah it would make it easier to know about competitions last time we did the video one i found out late

I believe this was discussed in the CDT a while ago as an events subforum for community general. Realistically, Sythe doesn't have enough events to constitute a sub-forum. It was denied then and the number of events hasn't increased so I see no reason why this wouldn't be denied now.

 

I would support this if we had a large enough quantity of competitions, but sadly in don't think we do.

We don't have an events sub forum though - perhaps that could be added? It could include competitions and other things, increasing the activity to a point where it might he useful.

 

Don't think I was a member then but were mini ranks present?

 

Can't remember if it was before or after mini-ranks were introduced. Regardless, currently no one cares for mini-ranks so they aren't a factor in people's willingness to participate in events.

 

Most of Community General is events, put events in a sub-forum and you end up with two starved sections. Community General isn't that busy to miss anything. Just check it every day.

 

Alright than how bout a sticky where people can post new/upcoming events/competitions?

That way nothing is starved but people can still enter events/competitions with a little more ease. I just want this to be a little more organized so people and myself can know about the events in time and more importantly not miss them -.-

I really don't see the difficulty with quickly looking at the front page of community general for 10 seconds to see if there's a new competition. What's the issue?

 

Lol, alright -.- I thought this was a good idea, a lot that could be done

 

Realistically there's one or two competitions per month. They usually stay on the front page of com general anyways and they usually fill up rather quickly. There isn't really a need for an entire subforum that will get one or two new threads per month.
