Community Idea

Hey, This is Sou here. I've just been looking for input for an idea me and a friend had. We are planning to make a GFX site focused around the typography everybody loves on sythe. This would include competitions, critique, and tutorials. I was wondering if you would be interested in joining?

 

A GFX community based around just C4D sigs? Sounds pretty boring to be honest. C4D sigs aren't really interesting and involve limited technique really. Photomanip, sig creation, and business graphic designs is what a community really needs. Also probably a little photography and typography, but not solely C4D sigs.

 

yeah i agree with Emperor_Nero. if you are going to make a graphic community you need to include all types of graphics.

 

I would join even though I dont make C4D's.

 

Focusing on just typography is pointless I feel. Sure most of the people here make mainly C4D signatures but limiting it to that won't bring much activity.

We have a graphics forum here already that people rarely post pieces in the gallery, and no competitions are held, I think we should work on changing this instead.

Yes I definitely think some competitions would help bring activity to the Graphics section. SOTW is a common one that I really think should be started back up. I was wanting to start a KOTH ( King Of The Hill ) thread, but we just don't have that many taggers. Hopefully Moon has something up his sleeve.
