next pokemon showdown tournament when?

Photoshop battles could also be a fun idea, where everyone gets the same starting image and needs to make something out of it, not sure if they've been done before. Ideally without AI art maybe, but that might be hard to enforce.

Next pokemon showdown make it either Gen 3 or Gen 4 Randoms, Generations 1 and 2 rely way too much on team RNG to the point It's worth it to fake your game crashing before move 1 if you get a unplayable team (0 Coverage and many same types).

End of the day they are still somewhat fun but Gen 1 and 2 just have so much less skill expression over other generations.

I personally prefer higher gens due to it being less rng based. Unfortunately history has shown that Gen 1 is the most popular gen for these Sythe events. Way more people participate. We've done gen 4 not so long ago and the interaction was much lower.

CDT has come up with many new event ideas. This one however is quite popular and we'd like to reach as many people as possible. Having that said; we're always open for new ideas! If you have anything in mind, please share them here.

But the real feedback I wanted to post is that last years Egg Hunt event had way better prizes and actually made me want to grind out those crazy ass clues last year lol. We need another one of those.

I was planning on starting a OSRS Poker club played on CLUBGG; quick run down, members sign up the club, members can join Discord and organise games between themselves playing cash games. Can do weekly tournaments to start and if we get enough numbers can have nightly tournaments. Would need cashiers (highly trusted members, mods or official middle men. For simplicity the currency would be 1:1 and the designated cashiers will top up accounts; player gives gold>cashier tops up the members balance on ClubGG. That would make it easy for multiple tables with different stakes and join tournaments. I've been thinking about this idea personally for the last week and have already made graphics for it but I'm still ironing out the kinks.
