Why did BlackBlasses get a competition winner funrank? Cant find anything that he won to obtain it. If it's because he placed second in the weekly events I request his funrank to be removed as the threads are pretty clear:



"Whoever gets the most points", not "top 2 who gets the most points".

 

We as CDT later agreed upon giving the top 3 the Competition Winner Funrank.
We purposely didn't mention this in the last few weeklies as it would confuse some people, which is understandable.
It's not going to be removed.
Congrats on your funrank nonetheless

 

Isnt it self-enrichment for the CDT to decide on changing it to the top 3 when one of the top 3 is in the CDT? Seems very sketchy to me to change the prize at the point that it became visible that a certain participant was going to win and a certain CDT member couldnt win it anymore. Besides this it is also highly unfair to change a prize which was always specified as to be only for the #1, to change it to top 3.

@Shin How can this be allowed? For 95% of the weekly events it was agreed upon that only the #1 placed participant would get the funrank, then it became clear that the CDT didnt like the top placed participant so they made it so the top 3 could win the funrank. Besides this how are the #2 and #3 "competition winners"?

 

The decision was made without looking at the results so we didn't take in account that @BlackBlasses was in the top 3.
We would've done it like this even if there wasn't a CDT member in the top 3.

Just because we have a strong feeling that you're just trying to be an obstacle for the CDT doesn't mean we bend the rules just because "we don't like you".

There are always 3 winners, 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place.

 

For the vast majority of the events it was agreed that only the #1 was getting the funrank, changing it is highly unfair to participants that kept that in mind and strived for the #1 spot. You cant just change a prize when at every event, even the latest once, it was stated that only the top placed participant would win. "There are always 3 winners, 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place" on Sythe only the top placed participant gets the funrank, take the signature of the month event as an example or any other event which handed out competition winner funranks for that matter.

@Charlotte There is no use in discussing this with the self-enriched CDT so tagging you.

 

Signature of the month is something totally different, weekly events were released weekly as signature of the month events are released monthly. Weekly events thus had alot more participants making it a better decision to give the funrank to the top 3 instead of just 1 person.

It says that the reward may change from 1 winner to 3 winners.

 

If you look at the points, and the difference in points between the #2 and #3 you can see that the amount of participants is a non-argument.

And after that post it was included in 48 more threads that only the top #1 placed winner would get the funrank. Also there is a great difference between changing it at weekly event #2 and when all the weekly events are over.

can we get a fix on vday minirank. its extra small and is making the miniranks not alligned. triggering af to look at.

Just think about what you said. You want the public to vote for who gets into CDT? Yes because people aren’t going to troll and fuck around/abuse that.

 

It's not like you're allowed to participate in our events.

So you being Part of the CDT team is to bring the community together.
But you refuse me based on what ?

My attitude towards you or my DNT rank ?
I don't have to receive prises for competitions, if the games were fun or if it were interesting to myself ide play regardless knowing I wouldn't get a prize for my wins.
Its taking part that counts.

 

We can't just refuse you to participate for your attitude, lol (has exceptions).

Yeah but I don't have to be traded to take part.
9/10 events are a low key java game.

I don't understand how my DNT rank would affect me playing along. When I acknowledge I'm there for the experience/ forfeit any cash prizes.

edit- or even some of the writing competitions, Just my name as number one with no goods traded is a win in my eyes.

 

Alot of our events have raffles attached, which you can possibly win by participating, which means that you can't participate.

 

Is there rules as such regarding DNT and community events that you have to follow ?

I feel like I could take part forfeiting all prizes/raffles anything that would cause me the need to trade.
Just my name acknowledged about the win, would be worth it.

That's basicly my point.
