Combat beta will screw up runescape

Hey guys,

do you think when combat beta comes out live it will totally ruin runescape because all the special attacks are gone and combat beta is way to overpowered my friend 2 hit me so very fast it wasn't funny please comment below and tell me what you think about this new combat idea.

 

We don't know for sure yet. It's all speculations what it's truly going to do. It's still in beta mode and a lot of changes and going to be made.

 

You need to use armor to not get 2 hit it adds so much more HP combat beta is just that beta send in feedback to them if you think there is something wrong and if enough people agree with you they will most likely change it.

To your question, No I don't think it will ruin it if anything it will bring in some of the players who used to play (me) to try it out again since the old combat was so boring when you would rather watch a movie while doing combat in a game that game isn't providing enough to warrant the time you spend on it.

 

It's kind of stupid having Armour boost your health i'd rather just keep it so your hp stays the same with or without Armour.

I hate it.
I quit rs because of it. Basically it is a last ditch effort by jagex to salvage their game. I tried it out on the beta servers and I basically got 3 hit every fight, and I had no idea what these abilities do or anything.

 

same I just put random shit on that bar and push random buttons till I kill someone I just prefer clicking on someone and it auto-attacking I liked special attacks it's the best thing you can ever have for pking.

OT once people learn a little more about the beta/eoc and get used to it im sure they will quit whining so much, i personally think the game was getting stagnant with the lack of new content/change in 10+ years people cry if they dont release new stuff and people cry when they do its a no win for jagex. people fear change too much its ridiculous the number of people talking shit about something that isnt even released yet why dont you keep the judgment for the final product? take this to the designated thread please its full of good info and points on all fronts of this topic.

 

Adapt or GTFO. You can 2hit him just as well as he can 2hit you. There will be new types or pures and new types of PK. Considering how un-adaptive RS community can be, Jagex is doing bold move with the new combat beta. ^_^

Btw, how exactly can I play it and do I need to have active subscription running?
