Clicking your name to go to the prof?

Support. On most other forums I've been on it's this way, and I never understood why it's not on Sythe. I personally find myself constantly looking at my profile to view my posts/threads.

A simple redirect. Two buttons going to the same place is silly anyway. Support.

Yes, it's a bother. Updating this wont take longer than a minute.

 

I've probably wasted over 100 clicks over the past year doing this for a total of nearly a minute of wasted time. There are thousands of active Sythe users. THIS WILL SAVE TENS OF HOURS

I need to update this who approves.. But people voice your opinions!

 

It's a simple redirect which should only take minute or two change. I believe only Richard or Matthew (possibly Govind?) could change, it's just a matter of them seeing this thread.

or you can just click user cp button, then on the scroll down menu click 'my profile'?

it's not like you can have visitor messages or anything remotely interesting on your profile. but whatever, support lol

 

I don't understand why you need to bump this up and look for user feedback? It is a good suggestion and all you are waiting on is approval from one of the higher tiered admins. (Verts?) has already said that she will have someone take a look at it so bumping this/hearing more opinions serves no real purpose other than getting giving people post count.

The suggestion seems to be the intended purpose of that link and anything other than that is just an issue with the site. Considering it would literally take a few minutes to fix I don't understand how you could possibly have any issues with this being implemented.

Like I said before, this really comes down to one of the higher tiered admins viewing this thread and changing the link, not really a big deal.

 

I guess it's really not that hard to implement but either is clicking twice instead of once.

 

no one is looking at the big picture.... if we can save people one click we will also save sythe bandwith... on that note i think its a splendid idea.

 

Come on admins, just add this already.

It's the simple things, they add up and make a website better. Baby steps.

I support this suggestion. I always have to find some thread I posted on to get to my profile and it gets annoying.
