I recommend you guys use the opera browser. It has a lot of nice features and it is the fastest browser. (Even faster then Chrome).

Definitely suggest Chrome over Firefox...I used to use Firefox a lot myself and didn't like Chrome too much when it came out but I fell in love with it after I started using it. :D

    Faster and looks nicer.

While opera is my favorite browser, it is nowhere near as fast as chrome / firefox / safari.

Could this be fixed by using something like tinyurl? to link to gold4rs instead of using the gold4rs link?

IE have the banner link to http://tinyurl.com/sythead instead.

    You sir are confused. http://www.ghacks.net/2010/06/16/opera-10-60-beta-released-fastest-browser-gets-even-faster/

Opera has been the fastest browser for awhile and it has some of the best features available.

I personally do as well use Google Chrome. I saw somebody on page one say, take the gold4rs thing down. I personally doubt that will happen. I'm almost 100% positive it's a paid for advertisement, meaning loss of profit. I might be mistaken, but doubt it. I hope this problem is resolved asap. It's a complete pain doing this, but 100% worth it. I don't want to switch browsers, because of two clicks. It's just not worth it. I hope the problem is resolved, if not it doesn't really matter. I'm sure most people on here don't care about two extra clicks every now and then, when your doing business.

Alot of rumours spreading that Gold4rs have been reported by Jagex or a RS-RWT competitor for hosting malware, this may or may not be true, but it'd explain the warnings with their ads, Sythe will most likely fix this as quick as he can.

I have tried both Chrome and Firefox, chrome seems to run a lot smoother for me. You should try both and see which runs faster for you.

Seems like an issue that gold4rs could address more easily than Sythe.

This would not be a suitable fix on the whole as far as Sythe.org is concerned, for obvious reasons.

This would not be a good fix as far as impressions are concerned. A webpage, through server statistics, is informed of an access of the page as well as a referring website.
