Christmas Crackers

How can anyone be sure of how manythere are ingame -.-

 

One time I bought 12 crackers from a player who rediscovered runescape after 8 years or so. I paid him in IRL $. Anyway, I sold them off 1 by 1 to people in w2, which caused the price to drop from 6B street to about 5B. So if you crunch some numbers, 12 additional crackers caused a 17% price drop, meaning that the number of active crackers went up by 20%, leaving us with approximately 72 active crackers

 

How much did you pay for all 8 of them? That's a ridiculously lucky find.

 

I paid somewhere around $30k for all 12

 

I don't think it's possible to know how many there are, maybe how many are associated with the RuneScape Blackmarket, yes.

But if Video had 12 on his very own, who he sold to separate members, then you can be sure this guy is lying about having the only 7.

That's insane, the fact that you even managed to find 12 of them. That user must have been EXTREMELY happy with his return.


OT: I'd wana say that although there's approx 100 active crackers, there's loads of them lying on no-longer playing accounts.

 

Sorry, I meant to say 12. That's a pretty good return. What was the player's reaction when you offered him thirty thousand dollars for 12 items that were more of less worthless 8 years ago?

 

There are like 1000 chrismas crackers in the game left.

That's quite a sum of money to spend on a video game, but when you add it all out in the long run, I bet the profit you received back was well worth more then you spent,
Imagine if one single player had over 1000 + Christmas crackers in today's Runescape economy. =o

 

There is far more than 7 crackers in-game, I don't know how many though, a few hundred or so I guess

 

7 crackers is still dam nice though lol

 

He was actually the one who came to me. He already had a sense of what his crackers were worth, so there wasn't this "OMG LOL 30K!!!!" reaction
